Zaborsky signs...

The Rangers have signed Slovakian forward Tomas Zaborsky, 20, the club's fifth-round draft pick in 2006 who likely will play in Hartford next season.
Zaborsky (6-1, 180) had 31 goals and 39 assists in 68 games in his second season with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL last season, including 17 multi-point games.

I'm writing about the rise of thoroughbred racing limited partnerships today as part of our pre-Belmont Stakes coverage, but will be tuning in to Game 5, when the Wings should win their fourth Cup in 11 years. (Flashback: Anaheim won Game 5 to beat Ottawa 4-1 in the Finals last season).
We may crank up a Gameday Live blog, which seemed worthwhile in games 1-3, judging by the responses, before we took a hiatus for Saturday night's Game 4.

Just heard that influential Mississippi bluesman Bo Diddley died earlier today. Must've been close to 80. "Who Do You Love", of course, featured his classic riff....

I guarantee that despite the fact that the Rangers had 5 rookies score goals in this year's playoffs, there will absolutely be some knucklehead on this blog who says something along the lines of

"why bother signing Zaborsky? he will never get a chance anyway"

thought I would beat the morons to the punch!

Was the deadline to sign 06 draft prospects June 1st. If so was Zaborsky the only prospect we signed. Im sure Skokan has to get a pretty good look. Billy ryan completed his last season at Maine as well, wonder if his injurys hurt his chances. Anyone hear anything.

Dude...
The post above was not me.

the Dude at 12:49 was not me

probably the same dooooosh bag!

The rats who infest this blog should be banned. Im all for going back to comments needed approval before being posted.

Hope the Wings finish off the Pens tonight,

just a reminder: bo didn't know hockey.

and dw don't know barry.

I dunno, Orpik does not seem very physical, or nasty or aggressive and he isn't very big and haz no offensive ability at all.

Malone is now a risky sign, who knows how serious that injury is--Gill's slapper straight into the face.
