Rangers-Bruins: Playoff positions at stake

First off, many thanks to Arthur Staple for filling in yesterday and providing a piece on Nigel Dawes for today's never-ending news cycle. My wife and I hosted a little get-together for nieces and nephews. Did well in the batting cage; the kids shot me up pretty good in laser tag.
That's all you need to know about my Saturday escapades.
Hope everyone remembered to move the clocks ahead: Daylight Savings Time!
Back to the news.
Sole possession of sixth place at stake this afternoon at 3 p.m. at MSG.
Unless something happened overnight, same Rangers lineup.
With Alex Auld playing in the win yesterday, expect Tim Thomas in the net for the Bs.
Blue Noters: Post your three keys for today's game below for discussion later.
More from the Garden coming up this afternoon..

The 3 keys to this game are the same as they are for EVERY game...

1) Score more goals than the opposition...

2) Ensure being left alone by coming up with something to keep the wife and kids occupied for at least 2 1/2 hours.

3) Double check supply guaranteeing ample cold beer and snack of choice.

Now how could anyone argue that one?

Enjoy the game everyone ...

1. protect the puck
2. stay out of the box
3. go to the net.

its always the same, isnt it?

Looking at the Bruins skate against the Caps until Brashear decided to hand them the game, you may have thought this team a deep slump. They did lose two whoppers 10-2 and 8-2, but they have a 7-3 record in the last 10 games, which is among the best.

Chara won't be playing today. He pulled out his shoulder against the Caps although he did come back to finish up.

Most of the time Don Cherry doesn't talk nonsense, but he said the Caps brought on their loss by piling on in that 10-2 victory. Boston did roar out with two fights, but big deal. No such thing as piling on in hockey. You play for 60 minutes and every guy out there has individual stax and objectives. When the Leafs beat Henrik 9-2 last year, that actually helped the team face some problems. What's Cherry want, that a team after leading 7-2 start doing figure 8s for the rest of the game?
