The Prucha love affair is really silly, once again he added nothing to this game when he hit the ice. After Pens tie it up he immediately takes a stupid penalty on the very next shift. The reason he got little ice time is because the 4th line was on ice rarely in 2nd and saw some time in 3rd due to the back to back schedule. Overall this was a well played game fairly even and for the most part the Rangers limited the Pens offensive opps. Could have gotten so more forecheck pressure but other than that there was nothing to really complain about. Probably should shoot more, and this is what happens every time we score under 2 or less, usually we don't shoot and try to make perfect offensive plays. Tomorrow night they will most likely let the shots fly and charge the net to get their 4 goals. The most important factor is to get the 2 games against Isles. Hold serve tomorrow night and get those two Isle games and all will be fine.
A first rd matchup against Pens wouldn't be the worst thing to happen. Chances are that the finish is 6,7,8 and the only matchup that would be better to miss would be Mont. I think Was is going to catch Carolina and finish in that 3 slot. I think no one wants to get Was in the 1st rd. They are a scary opponent. Huet can get hot in a playoff series and the offense of that club is even more frightening then Pitt. The Pens can be slowed down, not sure you can do the same to the Caps.

1 - Crosby has amazing talent....
2 - Ovechkin is a better "hockey" player then Crosby
3 - Crosby whines and cries all game long
4 - He gets away with x-checking people all game long while little holds get called
Here is my proposal for tomorrow nights game. Let's have some fun with Sid the Kid or shall I say Sid the Baby. Everyone going to the game should buy a binky/nuk/pacifer (whatever you prefer to call them) and write the #87 on them. During warmups everyone should stand on the Pens side and cry like a baby. Everyone should offer crosby your binky since it is made specially for him! I think this would be hysterical and help create some fun but also get the message out that this kid is a baby!!
Yes, we can also use them for Bob. I mean a real know it all hockey fan! It amazes me that no professional hockey team (NHL, AHL, ECHL, UHL) or Junior team in the area has picked this guy up to run their organization. I sit back and hope this guy has nothing better to do then to get people in this blog all riled up. If he is actually believing what he writes then we should all pray for him.

Hope you're right about Delgado. As for Jagr, his shoulder injury was a couple of years ago. He looks slow and old to me. And my sense is that this is a guy who had it come easy to him, so I don't feel that he works as hard as, say, others less gifted who've had to work extra hard. He's still a puck hog, which was okay when he could do things with it. He's had a great career, and he's helped the franchise. But, I think it's time.

by all means i am not defending bob, but hes right. I believe if we had a better coach who fit these players better we would have more wins. Renney was a perfect coach yr 1. A very good coach for the team in year 2. Year 3 there r coaches that would work better with this team.
This team has a lot of offensive talent and we should attack more.
