Rangers prospects Artem Anisimov and Alexei Cherepanov are playing in Russia in Game 2 of the Super Series versus Canada this morning.

A war is brewing between the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers in the
blogosphere.

Thought you would find this amusing. The FHF reply will be posted this afternoon.

http://fourhabsfans.blogspot.com/

I wrote a nice lengthy post about the HabsFan33 here that is getting reviewed.

Point was don't give this guy site traffic. That is all he wants and a little research shows what a rag site it is.

Respond to him here.

Huh...
Respond to what?

Exactly

I dropped them a line:

"You guys can take your history. Enjoy it. Your franchise is as big a joke since the lockout ans the Rangers were before it.

Fans who have a team they know is going nowhere frequently talk about their "storied" history. The fact is, The Rangers and the Red Wings are the only 2 of the Original 6 that are competitive these days. From the front office down the Habs are a joke, have a obviously racist coach, and have very few things to brag about these days.

So yea, you win. Your history is better. Congrats. I'd prefer to think forward, not back."

HabsFan33,

What a loser you are and it is so obvious what you are doing. You are attacking the biggest team in the biggest media market and then spreading the word around in hopes of drawing more than the usual two or three visitors to your site. Nobody outside of your circle of friends would have even known about your lame site if you didn't send it to the blueshirt bulletin and then make the post above. I made the mistake of going to your site and saw through you immediately. Look at each and everyone of your posts or "morning skates" as you call them. You have no more than two comments from posters on each and every post. That is REALLY SAD, especially seeing how you are posting in a city like Montreal that is absolutely mad about hockey. That means that in a hockey crazed city, you can only get your two buddies to post on you site. Gee, I wonder why the rangers were the first team you chose to do a top ten list on?? I've already given you far too much attention. Dubi (from blueshirt bulletin) shut you right down, but of course you call it "cry babying". Go back to blueshirt bulletin to see how much he cares about your stupid list...actually don't bother because he doesn't even mention you or your site because he knows it will just send more traffic your way. I am assuming that your next top ten list will be either Detroit or Philly and you will make sure to go to their blogs and post some stupid random comment with a link to your page, right? LOSER!!! How do you say loser in French?

Slick Willy, Peter, Homer..

Much better posts!! I gotta tell you guys, I can access the web at my job but can't really take the time or run the risk of posting throughout the day. But I read what you post and it helps pass the hours a bit.

I want to throw an idea out on the whole trade for Prucha idea. Do you guys remember all the Seabrook (D-Man from Chicago) for Prucha rumors last year? That's a trade I would have to really consider. The kid looks like he could turn into a real "Jovo" type of player. He is big, has a mean streak and can move the puck. His #'s aren't all that impressive, but he is really right up with Rosi's #'s and is a lot younger w/ potential galore!! Just an idea to debate maybe. As for the Jovonoski idea, my opinion is that he is too much of a risk, especially at his current salary. I think it would be wiser to see if Staal can come up and play big or see what other options are available before hitting the panic button for Jovo. With that said, if we get Jovo and he stays healthy enough to put some PP goals in from the point while laying some opposing forwards out, then I will eat my words faster than you can say "WE WANT THE CUP!!!!"

Waiting for gord and pete to say something dumb.

Looks like you beat them to it.

what would you do with yourself if the Rangers actually did contract and no longer existed?

Your life would be over

lets give a cup to the rangers for being the biggest media market.

the do nothing Rangers for 81 years

Lets give a silver gay stick to jagr, and be the only pathetic hockey team to make a big deal about reaching a milestone of 50 goals. I guess when you only produce 3 players in 81 years it's a big deal.

Peter ,
How is not making the playoff for nearly 9 years, than getting sweep in the first round in the 2006 playoff and then getting knocked out of the playoff in the second round in 2007. The rangers had what 4 more than the habs and the same wins. Yea real domination..
Ranger fans need a reality check.

4 more points

The war is brewing between me and my friends in our h0mosphere. We don't know which one to use. KYJelly or MotionLotion.

HabsFan33,

Why did you change your name to Long Live blah, blah, blah?

The seven posts in a half hour explain alot about your raggy trash blog, that you your boyfriend and sister/cousin read, write and post on.

GET A LIFE DUDE!

Joke,
I remember those rumors last year about Prucha and Seabrook. I just don’t like the idea of not having Prucha in 08-09 and the years to follow. I’m not with you on this one.
I flip flop everyday with the Jovo rumor. Today I’m against it. His salary will only hurt more come July next season when it’s time to make another splash in FA. We are going to need that monster d-man or Heatly or…
But maybe Staal is the real deal. Every report I read on, or about him says he’s ready. They say he can make the jump and it’ll only help his game get better. The scouts said these things about Leetch 20 years ago. But this kid’s no Brian Leetch, or at least not yet. They’re calling him more of a defensive defenseman.
Listen, Renny and Sather would light a fuse if they started looking at trading Prucha or getting Jovo now. Will the bomb explode in their faces is the real question?
So I guess I’m with you on this one. No Jovo, Watch Staal. Wait for Sanguinetti.

Petr Prucha would not even be close to be enough to get Seabrook from Chicago.

If by some miracle the Blackhawks actually wanted to do that, the Rangers would take that day and run in 2 nanoseconds.

Reality - You make it like the system isn't stockpiled with defesneman...Where we are thin is NHL calibre forwards. Now, if the Rangers plan to supplement the forward core with UFA's, then I see your point. But as long as things remain status quo there's nothing to be gained by trading Prucha for a defenseman when we have Staal, Sanguenetti, Sauer, Baranka, etc waiting in the wings.

Maybe I just don't know much about Seabrook because I haven't seen him play, but I definitely don't hear as much about him as I do about Phanuef, Johnson, Liles, etc.

Long Live - You should learn to write in complete sentences. Or is that too much to ask, taking into account your limited intelligence?

Pete,
Now you know mom told you not to make fun of the retard kids riding the short yellow bus. Say you're sorry, smile and wave.

Seabrook is an absolute stud.

You can't just make a blanket statement "I wouldnt trade Petr Prucha for him" if you don't know anything about him.

It doesn't matter though, Prucha is not nearly enough to get Seabrook, so the rumor is baseless.

Well it's a good thing then. Certainly trading Prucha rumors aren't going to die anytime soon. But I believe that all the Prucha trade rumors are baseless. Prucha is a stud.
But you know what they say, the grass is always greener on the other side.
Seabrook could be a monster. But he plays a heck of alot more minutes than Prucha, and his numbers aren't that good. Good, but not Prucha good.

Duncan Keith looks just as good.

who cares about numbers when it comes to Seabrook?

The kid is 22 years old, has played 2 full seasons in the NHL already and is 6-3 215. The guy is a former first round pick and there was a reason for it.

The Blackhawks would never trade him for Petr Prucha, are you crazy?

Plus, they have Jonathan Towes, Patrick Kane and Jack Skille, all highly skilled young forwards coming up.

does anyone know of anything special thats going on during the January 24th game vs Atlanta? Is #2 going to the rafters, or possibly something else?

Dude, I never said they would trade him. And I could care less about Seabrook. I certainly don't think he's as good as you think he is. And if you don't care about his numbers than what are you looking at him for. We already have 3 solid defensive d-man. We need a rocket at the blue-line. His numbers do not indicate that he's making Swiss cheese.
Watch Seabrook on the offensive press. He'll either shoot sharp from just before the goal line, or send the puck all the way around back to the point. EVERYTIME! His one timer isn't very accurate. This kids was started a season or two too early and will blow out sooner than later. 20 min AIT and the kid only had 144 shots on goal. Um, that's not really very good for a top 4, sometimes 2, offensive D-man.
I wouldn't give a 5rd round pick and Immonen for that kid. (I'm kidding I so would)
But, the Blackhawks do stink, and that might have a lot to do with poor (yet not all together bad) numbers.
Sanguinetti will blow this kid out of the water from the blue-line. Let's wait for him.

you are very observant

and very gay

Great, more gay references from the kiddie set.Go back to the icelander blog where you belong.

I'm going to drop a very late bomb and say to those retards Habfan10-33 are very correct, the world does revolve around Americans. I suggest that you recognize that fact, you French fags. If it wasn't for us, all of Canada would be speaking French, and later it was going to be German. I suggest you keep watching your attitudes because you'll be speaking some effing form of Shiites Muslim crap without the brave honorable men that keep this part of the world free from Communists and Fundamentalists. The next time I meet someone from Montreal, I'm going to punch him or her in the effing face as many times as I can before the police tear me away!
I have a French rifle, never fired and only dropped once. Any takers?
FROGS!

I might actually be more pathetic then Islanders fans and my cheap wanna be website

How did I get here anyways?

Oh thats right was searching for what real websites and blogs look like so maybe one day in the next five years I won't have to hunt for site traffic

Cheap web site you Idiot..
All the NHL Web site have the same design concept. The Islanders web site was the first to stream video over the net and call it Islander TV, and now the rangers have rangers on demand. To stupid to come up the idea hemselves.
Just like their stupid name Tex's Rangers...

No one was talking to you go back to Dugay and leave this to the gay french man and the Rangers fans

Oh and Islanders TV on the website was created because poor white Long Island trash like you dont go to the games and support your team.

So go back to watching the Ice Girl try outs and enjoy the live feeds this year too.

Like real ranger fans sell out the garden. Real ranger fans like The Morgan Stanely, Verizon, American Express those are your true blue fans.
Yea the garden sold out from 1997 to 2004, you had the highest payroll in the NHL and still failed to make the playoff.

Gillet the owner of the Habs is an american business man. Retarded, effing retarded! You know, while you french frogs are on your hands and knees polishing lucky pierres knob, start praying to God that an american has made that team what it is today.
These fools didn't even know an American is running their team. Retarded, effing retarded!
Maybe we should just rename them the Montreal Americans. We can do that you know. Americans just do as the god dam well please, then make you thank us for it.
Oh, and could you tell me if Montreal is being held up by it tourism industry? Don't americans spend most of the money that city holds so dear. The money we spend effing your hooker wives and drinking your crappy canadian beer? We are keeping that dirty city alive. So get back on your frog knees and thank us!
your clubs are great! Your daughters are whores! We love your whore daughters and wives. Frogs!

Cherepanov is out for the rest of the super series with a concussion.

Not good news to think he is out of the rest of a whole series after a hard hit like this.

This is a bad sign IMO.

He kind of got what he deserves too, he slew foots Sutter right before the hit, Sutter skates back down the ice and annihilates him. Eye for an eye.

Here's the play:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7WTtWHOmf4

That's all, where is the report of the concussion?

I found it. Hockeybuzz... Can't trust them. They play favorites and are the Perzehilton of hockey bloogers.
man you got one thing wrong. He's hoped to be back for the rest of the series

From Old #13 himself The Coach says:
It is hoped by the team that Cherepanov will be ready to go before the final four matches commence.

Huh,

TSN says he is out remainder of the series.

Conflicting, yet one things clear; he was hurt.

He's young, he'll recover.

I am watching the game this morning, Canada is absolutely physically abusing them.

Anisimnov looks good though on the bright side.

Got it, got it... my cookies must be loading older pages with out updating. It's fixed.

Still, he'll recover.

How are you watching the game?

is there a trick?

Jim, today we are best friends
you rule pal!

I am the real Jim BTW, haven't posted here in awhile

YES!

That was the first live goal I've sceen since July.

Isn't it awesome?

Just watch and see how Canada just absolutely abuses them physically, the Russians do not hit back.

OMG, was that Anisimov who just got the knee on knee?

This series is just turning into our worst nightmare coming true.

You're right... they're getting worked over.
Not scoring on that 5-3... Doughty having a good game.

Anisimov - #29?

Yeah, it was definitely him.

I really hope he didn't tear his knee up.

Well, this is going to hurt alittle in two weeks.
Anisimov... faster reports would be nice.

This is getting ugly.
Do they not train these kids to finish checks.
High short... who's prospect goalie is that?

This is why I fear the Rangers are too soft

Reality - It's not a blanket statement. I'm saying I wouldn't trade Prucha for a defesneman when we already have a log jam at that position. I supplementd that statement by saying if he was a guy like Phaneuf (who's getting way more press than Seabrook, therefore that would lead one to believe he's way better), then I'd try to put a package together for him.

You actually made a kind of wierd statemtn by saying we should trade Prucha for Seabrook, then said Chicago would never do it and it's a moot point. So why bring it up?

Pete-you are dense.
