Goaltender Interference II

1. Please remember that the young women are the complainants describing the situation to Newsday and Greg Logan. This is their side of some things that occurred during the game.

2. My assignment was to talk to the league and the Rangers. The league had a comment. No one has been penalized. The Rangers had a chance to answer and have declined, which is apparently their way of staying away from an incident that they may believe is overblown. Our job is to ask them if they want to respond, not respond for them.

3. I did write a short profile for the paper for readers who aren't aware of Lundqvist's talents on the ice, his focus on the game, the Rangers fans' appreciation of him and his high-quality relationship with the media. So there is balance.

4. For the record, I'd like to see Isles make the playoffs, why not? As a writer, I like good games and interesting story lines and the Isles would likely provide both.

More tomorrow...

I get the sense Steve Zipay would be happier seeing Henrik Lundqvist skate around with a bare midriff.

lundqvist and Avery are two pieces of crap.

Realist your a moron ... enough said

Steve, I'm sorry, the response to this story says way more about the level of (or LACK OF) intelligence of some of your readers. I honestly cannot believe you are being attacked over a story like this. It's NEWS. It has to do with hockey.

Apparently some of them have been living in caves for the past generation if they can get offended so easily by a. Cheerleaders and b. Reporting of said cheerleaders.

Seriously, are some of you just trolls?

During Al's interview with Perry Pearn in between periods, the "Ice Girls" walked by going one way and a bunch of men walked by coming toward the camera. If you didn't see the goofy looks on their faces you really missed out.

No one should be disrespected in trying to do their job, this is what the NHL wants. And for anyone trying make this out to be nothing, it's really a sad day in America.

just a bunch of %^$@^!'s if you ask me. you dont see anyone mowing the grass under tiger while he is walking down the fairway? dont mess with my goaltender during a game.

I've been to two of the Ranger/Isles games at the NVMC and never once has Lundqvist moved from his crease between stoppages, further more he doesnt do so at home games at MSG either, but do you see the MSG ice staff crying? No, reason being is they are grown men who are out there scraping the ice up and going AROUND Lundqvist. This story is getting attention because it was a few cute girls in skimpy clothing who got offended when big bad Henrik Lundqvist wouldnt move out of the way. That game was one of the most important games of the season for either team and if a goalie, regaurdless of team wants to remain focused they should be alloud to do so. As for the spitting thing she got a few dropplets on her back? Lets see your on ice, players of both team are spitting onto the ice, isnt it entirely possible that one of the players spat and it accidently landed on her back? I love how people are reguarding Henrik Lundqvist as a "piece or crap", whats the reason because he wouldnt move for a cute girl? Oh no! Gasp! The Horror!! This isnt news, this is somthing for E! News, whats next are we going to get to find out whatDipetro,Jagr,Shanny,Blake,or Smyth are wearing to the rink? How about writing about the great games these two teams have had this season instead of the negative(Simon) or the stupid( Lundqvist's decapitation of an Ice Girl)

If there was any doubt that Sean Avery is an idiot with a personality disorder, it has been completely removed.

Btw, I know Newsday is in the business of selling newspaper (at least they used to be!), but to put this story on the front page is completely absurd. You know there's a war going on, right? You know there's a battle in Congress about funding? Or does Les Payne choose to ignore that unless it involves the Congressional Black Caucus?

Even I think this is retarded and a waste of newsprint... newsday should be ashamed of themseleves

Sure Sean Avery is an idiot but the fact that the Islanders have college aged girls skating around shoveling up ice is more ridiculous. I don't defend Henrik's behavior, if it really happened the way they said it did, but the fact is those girls in scantily clad outfits don't belong on the ice during the game. If they want to come out in between periods that would be fine but not during TV timeouts. It's just unnecessary.

I was there and he did slash the squeegee, no class at all. I do not understand why suddenly their outfits make it ok for these morons to do what they did..it's a joke. Henrik is a moron.

1. It is too bad that this is even happening or topic. Too bad that it is one sided. Tell me something if my back is to you and I am skating, how do i know who spit on my back? Or if they even spit?

2. You did your job. Wish the Rangers would have replied. My question is though and seriously. How do you contribute to a story like this. Show up at the rink this morning and hang out with the team all buddy-buddy I am sure you will talk the two of them. How does that work? At some point do they realize that a relationship with you is not worth it?

3. Anybody that follows the Rangers knows about Henriks focus, demeanor and that the guy is a class act. Good way to look balanced though.

4. For the record, sure let them come to the playoffs. That would make for interesting stories. Where as this one you just contributed doesn't, gives hockey another front page black eye (that you have said you can't stand before) and the Rangers a black eye as well.

Maybe I'm too hard on you Mr. Zipay and Mr. Logan. At least you guys were there and may have seen something. But, for Baumbach to post on the Isles blog for emails yesterday should be embarrassing for him and all at Newsday that write and do a great job. As it is I can hardly get past the first paragraph in most of his rambles. The guy was not even there. And took emails of fans to write his piece.

Why does Avery get crapped on all the time? He's just like that little piece of garbage Blake... You hate him when he's playing against and love him when he's on your team... Islander fans get over it... This is a non story being blown up... How does she know it was a Ranger who spit on her? She got hit in the back. Does she have eyes in the back of her head? Please... lets me move on talk about the HUGE games tonight!

Is this like a make-up for the Simon incident, where they are trying to get us back by making a huge deal out of something that is ridiculous to even report.

SHAWN is right we have big games tonight to worry about that should be our focus, not because some little girl was scared and a little dramatic.."OMG I was shocked I couldn't believe it", please honey, your an "ice-girl" whatever that is. What is it going to be tomorrow?Henrik beat her with the stick? Please.

Lundquist should be suspended for a minimum of 30 games...using your stick on a teenaged girl is certainly more despicable than what Chris Simon did...and at least the Ice Girl didn't roll around the ice crying like Hollweg did.

Robz....

If your sister or daughter was an ice girl....would you want a professional athlete....one you pay to see...slashing something out of her hands....or spitting and cursing at her just for doing her job?

Tony-
Keep on playing that little game of telephone. That is cute. Do some research. Get your story straight then type.

Bottom line, they shouldn't be on the ice, period. It's hockey, not football or basketball.

1. Folks, read the Islander-biased story before you complain, the ice "girls" overheard the Rangers complaining to the officials about them, using curse words. It wasn't even directed at them. I sat in my seats with my two young girls and had two white trash "women" using foul language all game long. Who's the bigger offender?

2. "Drops of liquid on my back". Well, let's be nice about this one, but her back was turned. IF there was any liquid intentionally put there, odds are a little squirt of the water bottle was the culprit - get a grip. Maybe it was the leaky roof, or the Isles fans crying that they're not making the playoffs again.

3. Maybe you should blame your fearless chief for starting all this. YOur organization has an inferiority complex to the Rangers and from the GM down has spent more time ranking on the Rangers than putting a winning product on the ice. Your boys came out and said last time that you'd like to use the ice "girls" to distract Henrik. Rather than send these young girls to do it, maybe you should have sent some of the "men" on the team to do it. Like you did when Sillinger ran him.

4. I saw squeegy girl get Henrik with the squeegee and he swiped it off his person with his stick . . . calmly, but you can tell he was irritated. She finished up, eventually skated to a spot next to the Isle bench (right in front of me) where they picked up their snow piles every break. She was laughing as were the others. Mission accomplished Mr. Nolan? Even took some time to bend over to pick up the snow while 2 guys stood up and looked down their top, and they were all still laughing.

All the Ranger wives and mothers are whores, this is why they treat the teenage ice girls in this manner.Swissquist is nothing but a p****y swede that cant play goal for his life.
CAN YOU SAY 1ST ROUND ELIMINATION!!!

O.K....Its obvious that Newsday will never be confused with the N.Y Times! But I can't believe there could be so little going on in the world that this is front page news! Then to follow it up with 2 pages in color ....
Lets be real here, during one of the most important games of the season for both teams a professional goalie has every right to stay focused on his game. His behavior was no different than any other game, at any other arena. The only difference is that most other arena's and teams are more concerned with HOCKEY than showing T & A in between plays. It should be no surprise to anyone that on an ICE RINK during a heated game there might be some less than perfect language, spitting of water after drinking from WATER BOTTLES,and an occasional wet spot when inappropiately dressed girls are chosen to do the job of maintaining the ice.
KING HENRIK RULES!!!!!!!!!

The Rags are just another classless organization that don't care about their fans or anybody else. What do you expect from a team that owned by the same guy who charges one of the highest tickets prices in the league for such a crappy product, offers a 5 year $50 million contract to a servered leg that washes up on shore next to his house, and give Isiah Thomas a contract extension when his team won't even make the playoffs. Great organization you got there.

Quoted from a Ranger fan above.

"Your boys came out and said last time that you'd like to use the ice "girls" to distract Henrik. Rather than send these young girls to do it, maybe you should have sent some of the "men" on the team to do it."

Maybe we can get the "men" to dress in a nice little thong for Flukequist and that will distract him. I didn't know he swung that way, though I'm not suprised. Not that there's anything wrong with it.

1. This is not, and should not be front page news. Steve, I respect your work, but your bosses have lost all of my respect. To put this garbage on the front page of a newspaper given the events going on throughout the world shows an extreme lack of class.

2. Three times previously Lundqvist has played at the Coliseum this season, not once has he been asked to move. Suddenly, with the playoffs on the line, bad blood brewing between the teams over the Simon and "alleged" DiPietro incidents, an ice girl decides to get pushy about how she does her job and "accidentally" knocks Lundqvist's stick while he's trying to concentrate. Coincidence? I'm not convinced.

3. One of these women feels something wet on her back, and automatically concludes she was spit on? And everyone accepts it as fact? No one on the ice saw it, including the woman making the accusation, but it must be true, right?

4. From my understanding, reading a somewhat less biased and controversial take on this incident in a competing paper, neither Avery or Lundqvist swore AT any one of these women. They used less than PG terminology when discussing them with the refs and were overheard. Surely this isn't the first time these women overheard comments along these lines.

5. Scantily clad women don't belong on the ice during the game. If you liken them to cheerleaders, let them dance in the stand or perform on the ice before or after the game or between periods. Don't insult my intelligence by telling me they have a job to do.

Laurie-
Good job! I would love to have Zipay come in here and reply but that won't happen.

Charlie-
I find it amusing when Islanders fans want to call the Rangers organization classless. Do we really have to get into this? The Rangers have more class looking at the outside of the Garden then the Islanders ever will.

Talk about Zipay being pathetic, he writers a fluff article so he does not get grief next time he does not go into the lockeroom and has to sell flukeqvist to the public instead of find out about what happened.

How many writers do an article to counter allegations unless they are a fanboy and not objective.

Rag contraction, Isles rule New York City....

I am very disappointed in Newsday's decision to put this story on the front page and give it the attention that it has. I grew up on LI and have always held Newsday in high regard, but this makes me question that. To me, whatever happened out there, making this into a big story smacks of a PR move by the Islanders to get some badly needed attention at the Rangers' expense when they can't earn it themselves. To run with it like this and give it top billing over real news, let alone other sports news, is an embarrasment and something I'd expect from a tabloid rag, not a respectable newspaper.

You got to be kidding me. This crap makes the front page. No wonder Newsday is a JOKE!!!!!. This is why I want to cancel my subscription. The Islanders should worry about putting a better, yes, a better product on the ice instead of paying girls to prance around cleaning up snow....

ISLESCUPS...WHEN YOU COME OUT OF YOUR COMA AND ARE ABLE TO SEE,HEAR, AND THINK, TRY TAKING A WALK DOWN HORROR LANE THE NIGHT THAT SIMON ALMOST DECAPITATED HOLLWEG AND YOU'LL NOTICE THAT AS BAD AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN, THER WERE NO TEARS, AND FORTUNATELY FOR SIMON NO CHARGES THANKS TO HOLLWEG, HOPEFULLY FOR YOUR SAKE MAYBE YOU WILL SOMEDAY WAKE UP

The Ranger fans coming here crying about all of this are insane. The same people yelling for Chris Simon to be arrested for giving Hollweg a minor injury in retaliation for a head injury can't see how using your stick on an ice girl is a problem? Talk about hypocritical.

Its no secret that the Rangers are a joke organization from Cablevision down to clowns like Hollweg. Its also no secret that the NHL is a minor league organization with clowns like Bettman & Campbell at the helm. Why should anyone be surprised that punks on the Rangers spit on little girls regardsless of if they belong on the ice or not. Should we all spit on their wives and daughters when we see them in the stadiums? Loser team Loser league

JAKE...LOOK, I CAN WRITE IN CAPS TOO...HOLLWEG WAS NOT ALMOST DECAPITATED...HOLLWEG HAD NOTHING MORE THAN A BLOODY CHIN (AS OPPOSED TO SIMON'S CONCUSSION)...HOWEVER HOLLWEG ROLLED AROUND CRYING FOR TEN MINUTES LIKE HE'D BEEN SHOT.

Hey BS ...your full of BS. enough said....

That was a great reply anonymous...way to make a point...why don't you go pick on teenaged girls like your hero Rangers do.

Isles cups....
Wow, that was a great come back! Guess you should try getting a stick in the throat sometime. And as I recall I never saw him rolling around for 10 min. crying ...what game were you even watching? We RANGER fans are an original 6 team and are proud fans. How about you have a talk with your goalie and have him try some humble pie and step up to the plate for his team during there attempt to make the playoffs. Avery should have put him out of his misery.

Jake I guess the reason you didn't see him rolling around like a b_tch was because you were distracted by the goal that we scored to tie the game...oh wait your friends in the league offices didn't allow it...as for DP he did come back and played heroically until Avery cheap shotted him, much as he did to Brendan Witt the first week of the season. But of course there is never any discipline handed down when it's the Rags involved...as you point out they are an original 6 team meaning they play by another set of rules. That's why punks like Avery and Hollweg are allowed to run around hitting people from behind, throwing forearms, and spearing players with no repurcussions. And that is why Queen Henrik is allowed to use his stick on a teenaged girl with no repurcussions. Next time we'll have to send out a teenaged boy...that will make him happier.

It's not an exaggeration to say that these girls are half naked on the ice of a professional sporting event. It is completely unnecessary that the Islanders force these to young girls to dress up as porn stars and have them in the space of professional athletes during the game.

Additonally, no one, man, woman or child should go near a goalies crease during the middle of a game. Goalies are the most focused athletes of any professional sport. You think Bill Smith would have put up with a half naked girl coming into his crease during a brief stoppage during what was essentially a playoff game?

Give me a break.

IslesCups,

Yeah, except the only difference was that Simon's "injury" came about through an unpenalized, legal hit, whereas Hollweg was injured by a stick swinging that had the potential to do much more damage. Also, I find it amazing that Simon showed no evidence of post-concussion syndrome in the locker room after the game, and it only materialized when he had to fly to Toronto to meet with Campbell. Indeed, he came to the Colliseum two days later to take his team picture. Do you think Shanahan could've taken a team picture two days after his concussion? Not likely. Was it far more likely that Simon and his buddy Nolan conjured up his concussion so as to provoke sympathy and prevent a serious suspension? Probably. What did we see on TV? Simon gets hit, falls, gets up and hits Hollweg with his stick. No rolling around on the ice, no fainting, nothing. Compare his "concussion" to every other concussion in the NHL this year. Completely dissimilar. I call bulls**t.

As for the Fish Stick Girls:

1. I for one enjoy seeing pretty girls skate around. If that's the best the Islanders can put on the ice then that's their problem.

2. I echo the other posters in asking how the hell she knew she was spit on? Did she perform a chemical analysis? Did she hear a spitting sound? Can she distinguish between water and saliva on her back? What if some Ranger player intentionally squirted water on her back as a joke? Stupid, of course, but not the same as spitting at someone.

3. If you see the goalie standing there and concentrating, why would you start swiping the ice around him and trying to break his concentration? Is it beyond the realm of possibility that, during an extremely important game for the fishermen, an Islander player asked the girl to mess with Lundqvist, because they can't beat him on anything other than lucky bounces, and the girl, most likely an Islander fan, complied? Just saying.

4. Re the cursing, what happened to women's liberation? I thought they wanted to be treated the same as men, no better no worse? Did these girls never hear foul language before? Hard to believe when they're around hockey players. And if Avery, while talking to the officiating crew, asked them to "please tell these f***in girls to stay away from Lundqvist," and the girls heard him, they're not being cursed "at" in any way, shape or form.

No wonder the officiating crew did nothing and NHL won't do anything. Nothing happened. Get over it. Let's play some hockey.

I don't see why everyone is making such a big deal out of this.

1) The Queen has a problem stopping pucks through the five-hole, he needs any slight advantage he can get. So if its a build-up of ice by the goal crease to slow down a puck here, or there... it should be overlooked. He shouldn't EVER let anyone clean the crease.

2) We all know if The Rangers as a team had class, then maybe they would still have Ice-Girls. Whatever happened with that lawsuit? How pathetic this team is.

But its not important regardless. Its to be expected from a classless team like the Rangers. Figures that Ranger fans approve of this crap. Shows the lack of class. Islanders fans meanwhile mostly all posted about our disappointment with Simon over his incidient. But can't expect rangers or fans to have our class.

You should be half the man that "King" Lundqvist is. He is honorable and a clean player. No cheep shots with him. You dont need to call him names, sounds like your are a true Isles fan talking like that! We are trying to talk intelligently about hockey, not call people names.

Rangers a joke of an organization? What about the "medical trainer" who mis-diagnosed DP's head injury and allowed him to go out there and be put at risk. I know i'm going to get the "Avery caused DP's injury and if he wasnt a worthless piece of crap then it would never have happend" nonsense, but the fact is he shouldnt have been put into that type of situation, not to mention he took a puck from Jagr off the mask in the same game. Especially since he is signed for 15 years!! What if he is now done for good(god forbid),what then? Are you going to put Dunham in for next season, because for some unexplainable reason Dubie wont get respect from that organization. Point is this is the last thing that should be gracing the cover of any news paper, especially when these teams have two HUGE games to play tonight, but that gets the back seat right? Who cares about hockey until there is a way to discredit it and its players. Its absolutly pathetic that this made cover on this rag. I can respect the bad blood between the teams and the teams fans, it's what makes it fun and I wouldnt trade it for anything, but honestly for those who are claiming this is remotely the same type of situation as the Simon-Hollweg incident, then you need some serious help. There was no intent to injure in this situation, while there clearly was in the Simon-Hollweg situation. Further more if there was a rule saying the goaltender had to leave the crease then I can understand the issue, but there isnt check for yourself. What this boils down to is the cute girls didnt get their way and so everyone feels bad for them, too bad! Have you heard any other teams complain about Lundqvist not moving while in the crease? NO! Reason: there is no rule! Also I have been to a Boston/Isles and a Detroit/Isles game and neither Thomas(Bos) or Hasek(Det) move out of thier crease for these girls, but where is the headline for that? How come that isnt splattered on the cover of the newspaper? In case Newsday didnt realize there is real news out there, with people's lives at risk in Iraq,Presidential campaigns, and so on. Glad to see they choose to run a story with a good looking girl on the cover instead. I tell you they have their priorities in place.

Alex....
Well said!
Thanks.
Now let's put an end to this disgrace, and play hockey.
GO RANGERS!

Can't we just get the lines from the morning skate?!?!

If there is a moderator here, please lock this crap and let's go back to hockey. Thank you

"Also I have been to a Boston/Isles and a Detroit/Isles game and neither Thomas(Bos) or Hasek(Det) move out of thier crease for these girls, but where is the headline for that?" -Alex

It might have something to do with Thomas and Hasek not having there team-mates curse and spit at girls just trying to do there job. Its classless.

Enough already, these girls and the islanders especially wanted there 15 minutes of fame and thanks to Newsday they got it!! This is right out of "Seinfeld" with the magic spit!! lets call Keith Hernandez, Newman, and Kramer to investigate this!!!

Lines from practice?

Zipay, Logan and the Isles fans are all hanging out sifting through emails to write Jims next story.

Lines may not happen today.

I DONT KNOW IF ANY OF YOU IDIOTS REALIZE THAT CLEARING THE SNOW FROM THE CREASE AND BENCH AREAS DURING TV TIMEOUTS IS A RULE MANDATED BY THE NHL. LUNDQVIST COULD HAVE SIMPLY LEANED FORWARD AND GILDED A MERE 5 FEET WHILE STILL LOOKING DOWN TO MAINTAIN HIS EVER PRECIOUS CONCENTRATION, INSTEAD OF SWINGING HIS STICK AND SLASHING A GIRL. IM NOT A RANGERS OR ISLES FAN BUT COME ON. YOU CANT CLAIM ISLES SUPPORTERS FOR BEING PETTY WHEN THE ENTIRE REASON WHY THIS OCCURRED WAS BECAUSE OF LUNDQVIST BEING PETTY.

Anyone that would defend grown men harrassing women is a punk. Plain and simple. Wussies one and all.

SEEN : In the shower, Henrique and Shawna playfully throwing the soap around. Kids, yes, it's true, Henrique may be a goalie, but he is truly a catcher at heart!

WHY DO THE GIRLS HAVE TO BE HALF NAKED?

ANYONE CARE TO SHARE THEIR OPINIONS ON THAT?

Just remember, these two teams are pretty much helping each other out tonight. one can clinch, if that one clinches, that keeps the other alive (should they win).

Why dont the Isles take w/e anger they have at that jerk Darcy Tucker?

NY vs Canada for playoff lives tonight.

It's over with. Move on to TOR and MTL, respectively, please.

OK, ENOUGH PLEASE!
WHO REALLY CARES ABOUT THE DUMB TWITS ANYWAYS. THOSE ACTING LIKE SHE GOT RAPED NEED TO REALLY MOVE ON. SLASHED HER? READ THE ACCOUNTS FROM PEOPLE THAT SAW IT. HE HIT THE END OF HER LITTLE SQUEEGIE. WHO CARES. THIS WOULD BE A BETTER STORY IF HE PULLED A SIMON THEN AVERY SPIT ON HER LIFELESS BODY!

HAD THE ISLANDERS HAD A SHOT AT THE PLAYOFFS WE ALL KNOW THIS WOULD NOT MATTER TO NEWSDAY OR ISLANDERS FANS. RULES? WHO HAS EVER GOTTEN A PENALTY FOR NOT VACATING THE CREASE FOR AN ICE TRAMP?

I think it's time to address the real issue here. We all know that sports fans are likely to defend their teams...right, wrong, or otherwise but it doesn't matter if you're a ranger or an islander fan or not a fan of sports at all. Anyone with a reasonable amount of intelligence would have to agree that it is a sad,sad day for journalism to wake up and find this on the front page of the newspaper. I can't question the judgement of the fans, but I certainly have to question the judgement of the editors of Newsday for them to allow this to happen, And lastly I have to question my own judgement for subscribing to such a "newspaper'....GO RANGERS!

I wish Steve could explain how this story is a front page story?I love how Steve trying to wash his hands of contributing to the issue. He is lucky I am not running MSG.His press credentials and all of the Newsday credentials would be gone.He can report on the game from his living room

HERE! HERE! TO CONCERNED AND NICK

THIS IS WHAT REALLY NEEDS TO HAPPEN. RANGERS WIN TONIGHT ISLES LOSE. THE ISLES AND THEIR FANS CAN GO BACK TO WATCHING FIGURE SKATING AND THOSE OF US FANS THAT HAVE A TEAM GOING ON TO THE PLAYOFFS CAN CONTINUE TO WATCH HOCKEY!

LET'S GO RANGERS!!
LET'S GO LEAFS!
BEAT AN ICE GIRL WHEN YOUR DONE WITH THE FISHSTICKS!

And to the idiot who likened this to Simon/Hollweg. Yeah, the ice girl REALLY got physically injured by someone supposedly spitting at her.

BAUMBACH CAN'T LEAVE THIS ONE ALONE...NEWSDAY OUGHT TO BE PROUD!

GO COVER THE YANKEES THEY PLAY AT 7:05 TOO LONG OF A WAIT? NOTHING BETTER TO DO?

LEAVE THE HOCKEY TO THE HOCKEY WRITERS!

zipay, the rag homer of a "journalist" has been upset the last few days because even he knows that sam zell is going to personally call him to fire him when the tribune merger closes so he has to deflect the blame of this situation onto the ice girls. seeeeeeeeeeeee yaaaaa rag homer.

If the person who cleans the ice was a fully clothed male and Lunqvist had nubbed his squeege, this wouldn't have been a story.

The Ice Dancers are exactly like the Islanders team including their coach, boo hoo whiny crybabies. Tell the Islanders to get rid of their bimbos on ice!

I like how Lundqvist, who has never said or done anything disrespectful to anyone in the NHL, TAPPS an ice girls squeegy and all of a sudden hes a wanted criminal. Let the man do his job please, this is typical of the islanders.

Islescups, if I had a teenage girl, I'd hope she had more dignity than to parade around ice at an NHL game practically naked. I'd hope she was in college getting an education so she could be a lawyer or a doctor.

hey zipay, maybe i'll let you and some of your rag buddies landscape my 15 acre lot this summer after you're fired by tribune.

Every single rag fan is a mullet clown.

First of all, I was at the game and Lundquist did not SLASH the iceskank, he tapped her squeegee AFTER it hit him in his skate breaking his concentration.

Secondly, where the heck does the notion she was spat on come into play? She's on ICE (which by the way is made from water), and perhaps, just maybe, some kicked up and hit her in the back when people skated by her? To suggest she was spat at when her BACK WAS TO THEM is simply her trying to aggrevate a situation where none exists.

This chick needed her 5 minutes of fame because her career at Diamond Dolls wasn't panning out.

HAHAHAHA, NOW MOD REVIEW? HAHAHA, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT

Enjoy watching the Rangers in the playoffs.

I really hate to change the subject, but as I read all the flamebait comments from Islanders fans on this blog, and the raging lunacy on the Islanders blog, I can't help but notice that I am a 'Rag fan.'

Is 'Rag' supposed to be a derogatory term for Rangers, or is it too much work to type an extra few letters? Where/when did this come about?

Just like calling them:
Icelanders
FishSticks
Parking Attendants
Pumpkins
LI White Trash

hey tito santana, you're a RAG fan. that means you're just another mullet clown.

alexei yashin dates supermodel carol alt. sean avery dates some trashy girl that was in a movie about high school porno. comparison?

1983 YOUR A DINK. HOW IS IT LIKE CALLING YOU FISHSTICKS OR PUMPKINS? THAT WAS INSPIRED BY YOUR EYESORE JERSEY. WHERE DO YOU GET RAGS FROM?
