Game 2 morning skate update: Rozsival likely

D Michael Rozsival, who left Game 1 early after injuring his left leg, skated at HSBC and said he was ready to play. Coach Tom Renney said it was "looking good", but left open the "outside option" of dressing seven D.

Rozsival's defensive partner, Marek Malik, who rested yesterday, skated and is ready.

Jagr, Nylander, Avery, Shanahan and Lundqvist didn't participate in the optional skate...Renney watched from the stands

Quotes and more later...

Any thought to playing pock on the 4th line? Having him available in case rosy or malik go down?

That's a really good idea.

I like that idea too

I heart Thomas Pock.

That's an excellent idea. I think Pock is less of a defensive liability than Rachunek at this point, and if it means dressing one less forward, you can always put Pock up front on the 4th line.

So is Malik ever going to be punished for the mistakes he makes or is it ok just because hes a veteran...I'm pretty sure Marc Staal wouldn't throw the puck blindly in front of the net....Malik better not be on the team next year

LI Joe, First off maybe Sabre fans do have more class than me but I am not a Sabre fan. 2nd I only started going on the ranger blog after rangers fans started talking trash on our Islander blog. I have to admit getting responses really does make you feel better as Islanders fans typically just ignore the ranger fans comments so I thank you for your response. Buffalo in 4!!!

Nick - note you used 4 but you should spell it fore as in what the Islanders and most of their fans have been doing since round one ended. Of course each team has its group of fans who are really losers and feel obligated to go on another teams blog when their team has been eliminated. I have never gone on to the Islander blog nor do I ever intend to. May I suggest in your case professional help or some other interest where you actually run around and play a sport. I can understand if you're 12 but if you're older than 18 you really need help. I hope you get it. Good luck in getting it. Let me know if it helps.

LI Joe,
As stated in my previous note, you responding is all the help that I need as it shows what Islander fans think and say actually does matter to you. I have never responded to any of the ranger fans comments on the Isles blog nor do I intend to. So thank you again for the response and please keep them coming... Buffalo in 4!!!!!

Nick - one more and only one more. and its not even hockey related. I hope you are either 12 (meaning there's still hope for you) or 80 + meaning your poor excuse of a life will soon be over. And for what its worth it's not that your an Islander fan that is the problem it's that your an a**hole. Have a nice life loser.
