And in business news today.....
Despite rapidly escalating prices nationwide, cheese sales on Long Island spiked upward this week, and in fact reached all time weekly highs, as Islander fans stripped store shelves bare in a self ingratiating attempt to complement their whines.
A spokesman for the American Dairy Association applauded New York Islander fans for their choice of comfort food, calling it "A healthier alternative to chocolate or hard alcohol".
In a related story, the makers of Ex-Lax were anticipating a temporary surge in sales based on this spike in cheese sales, and, as one spokesman said, "There's a real need for some Islander fans to blow it out their arses".
Elsewhere, the makers of Gatorade, at the suggestion of longtime Islander commenter "Healy", are currently developing and test marketing a new product called "Haterade", to be targeted at the Sports Media demographic. Initial testing was met with "extremely positive" results in the Melville area of Long Island.
505
LMAO!!!!!! priceless.
What????
With all the crap going on this week...and the 1st question asked is..
"When does the new schedule come out?"
Scotty, beam me up
wait he covers an NHL team and he 'thinks' the schedule comes out tomorrow. I see he is real up on the league.
would the real 505 please stand up lol. I can't believe the trolls on here sometimes.
" I can't believe the trolls on here sometimes."
That's what happens when you don't wash your Flore
And Netminder,
I suspect the questions from Sir William were also trolled.
A/He uses caps in his handle
B/He is never up this early in the morning
C/He is not online right now (we im from time to time).
It simply amazes me the depth of hatred for all things Islander that people outside and WITHIN THE MEDIA have for the Islanders.

Here's the link to the article you were asking about yesterday where it says Snow had already given Nolan written permission to look for a job elsewhere...

After getting the answer to my question I guess it's safe to say we won't be seeing a new show coming out called "Everyone Loves Ted". I'm tired about hearing that all the players just love playing for Ted and will skate through walls for him. He wore out his welcome in Buffalo pretty fast and the same thing happened here you think it is possible that the guy has personality problems.
Personality problems like Parcells... When you're responsible for the soup, you want to be involved in teh grocery list.
Don't hang this one on Nolan... Muckler got hung right after Nolan... but Snow isn't going ot sufferthe same fate becasue this team is too weak to handle it. It's the same thing as Bobby V and Phillips... it's a murder suicide... the only thing is that there isn't a pipe strong enough in the islnder organization for Snow to hang himself on...
I'll always be an Islander fan, so I'm rooting for this to work out... but I can not say that i am not embarrassed by the organizaton every day! Snow may have made some good personel moves, and some lousy ones... but almost everything he's done is UNPROFESSIONAL... starting with trading 3 first round picks for a guy you haven't even spoken to... who winds up playing 18 games...
...and he wants to be our latex salesman?
"Snow may have made some good personel moves, and some lousy ones... but almost everything he's done is UNPROFESSIONAL... starting with trading 3 first round picks for a guy you haven't even spoken to... who winds up playing 18 games..."
- Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Your good JP...Youuuuuuu...YOuuuuuuuuuuu ... You good.
Seinfeld line to end a great post !!!
Notice how Greg skated around the question about our new putrid PR kid.....Too funny.
He would not post my question today.
I asked if Wangs wife would be our new coach or if he would find someone else he could control ???
steads, wang's wife was his original co-owner. How is Sanjay these days? I wonder if we'll ever hit the trifecta of jailed Islander owners.
It would be a nice finish to the story if someday ted nolan and his three stanley cup rings were walking through Penn Station. While figuring out the schedule to the his house in the hamptons he notices a homeless guy ... "hey, didn't you used to own Computer Associates?"
Maybe Jim the Question was asked because when HBO did that piece on him he played the race card. I don't think that was the original SW who asked the question.
That was a troll Jim M, who asked that question about Nolan.
Interesting that the "Chat Host" allowed questions of a potentially racially divisive nature to go through, as well as questions from people who were clearly imposters, yet blocked legitimate questions from long-time commenters on this board.
The games have begun.
