So I was just browsing ESPN.com and I came across this very odd story about a high-school wrestling coach in Pittsburgh who bit one of his wrestlers during practice.
The attorney for the coach says it was done in jest, but it seems like this coach has some deeper issues here.
I encountered an incident once where a young wrestler bit a sparring partner during practice. Unfortunately, that boy had some learning disabilities and he didn't know exactly what he was doing.
This coach, who says he has been around the sport all his life, should certainly know better.

If he was a popular coach and the kids loved him, this probably never would have been reported by the kids. I was a fat kid growing up and the wrestling coach asked who wanted to wrestle. I sat down never expecting to wrestle. Then the coach kicked me, actually kicked me and said, "Sign up." I signed up and had an awesome time.
But biting is pretty strange. Maybe he was embarressed because he was losing to a high school kid???
