Deer Park, you are in for now. But a loss at home to North Babylon today will have you right back out next week. I'll be at Connetquot later today, as the T-Birds (10-1-1) try to avenge their only loss of the season against Commack (11-0-1). The winner will be the No. 1 team next week.

The "Big 10" is a waste of newspaper space - NO ONE CARES. Newsday could be using that space to write teams about teams/individuals throughout the island that are much more interesting that the opinion of one person. Put the Big 10 online and use the space for more productive writing!
also made it out to the Connetquot Commack game. What a game. Commack dominated the first half but Connetquot produced two goals and two chances. Second Half was played even but Connetquot stepped up the intesity to keep Commack out of the net. Congratulations to both teams, believe me they will both be around late in the playoffs. How about league 1 is this really Sachem East in these games? Congrats to Pat Med on a great run those far.
Gotta watch out for Ward Melville in League I too...
