A friend of mine down at the Baltimore Sun covered Gilman this year, says they were sick. Not surprised they sit atop this list. Thought New Jersey's Mountain Lakes would be a little higher up. As for West Islip -- they'll be at the top of this, and every other list next year. Who do they return, nearly everyone?

Holy Trinity should definitely be up on that list. They performed against the best teams in the country well this year and has not received any accolades for this. If there gonna make a list of the best teams in the country put a team up there who plays the best teams in the country and performs well against them. Here's a fact for you guys

I think St. Anthony's made a more convincing case to appear on that list than Garden City. This year's Chaminade-St. Anthony's playoff game was a classic. If they win that one they probably would've made it. Holy Trinity had a fine season and played well against tough opponents, but those losses, close as they were, suggest they were a notch below the Flyers and Friars. There's no shame in that either.
FOP, please stop whining! HT is a 2nd class team. They can't and haven't beaten anybody any good for a long time, including football.
I understand the fan from HT completely because everybody jumps on the bandwagon for the Flyers and Friars where there are good kids on the team with tons of talent and they choose to sit on the sideline and win a championship rather than be on the field and play. The HT kids are 100% athletes with tons of pride they never gave up in every game they have ever played They never took a backseat to anybody.So If HT had 40 kids on there roster maybe they could actually win because they have fresh legs but since they don't and never will they will always be athletes who give it there all and accept the good with the bad.
P.S for the please stop comment there are 90 players on St.Anthonys roster only 40 play and 50 sit on the sideline and boast about getting a ring and winning a championship

Ok why would you say that HT should be higher up when they lost all those games? It doesn't even make sense hey lindenhurst had some close games with ward melville and west islip should they be top 20 as well? No teams that win deserve to be in the top spots not ALMOST wins. I went to public school so im not a fan of catholic schools myself but to say chaminade and st. ants are jokes because kids sit on the sideline is a little over the top. How many HT kids are superstars in D1 schools? I'd say little to none but chaminade and st.ants have kids in all the top programs, coincidence?

How is lynbrook not on that list? I understand they were upset in the playoffs but plainedge.. but they are clearly a top 25 team. They BEAT Garden City. They finished 14-2 in the regular season with there only losses against Syosset (without their best player). WIth the best player (denapoli) lynbrook beat Farmingdale by three goals and farmingdale beat syosset. Lynbrooks only other loss was to southside.
