Nassau Players of the Week
Terry Green (Holy Trinity): The junior had 25 points, 18 rebounds and six blocked shots in a 64-60 overtime win over Buffalo Nichols in a CHSAA Class A state semifinal.

Megan Galvin (Floral Park): Galvin helped ignite Floral Park’s rally with a three-pointer with 1:51 left in the third quarter to start a 19-6 run that gave FP a 36-34 lead en route to a 47-44 win over Huntington in the Long Island Class A final. Galvin scored 10 points.

Suffolk Players of the Week
Christine Huber (St. John the Baptist): The 6-4 junior had 17 points and 17 rebounds for SJB in a 43-30 win over Holy Trinity to win its fifth consecutive NSCHSAA championship.

Maliqua Fisher (North Babylon): Fisher often gets overlooked as she does the things that don’t show up in the boxscore. Fisher scored 11 points on her 17th birthday to help North Babylon defeat Hicksville, 55-53, in the Long Island Class AA championship.
