Suffolk Players of the Week

Kristen Doherty (Sachem East): Doherty had 27 points, seven rebounds and seven steals in a 64-31 win over Ward Melville on Thursday in a battle for first place. The sophomore had 22 points and six steals in a 66-46 win over Longwood on Saturday.

Kayla Koch (Kings Park): Koch scored a game-high 24 points, including nine in a 17-15 fourth quarter for Kings Park in a 59-54 win over Half Hollow Hills West on Thursday. She also added seven rebounds. Koch had 10 points, 10 assists and seven steals in a 65-41 win over Deer Park on Saturday.
