North Star Christian 45, Sackets Harbor 29, Class D Semifinal

Jaanai Beckford had 24 points and 19 rebounds as North Star Christian Academy (Section V) topped Sackets Harbor (Section III), 45-29, in a state Class D semfinal. North Star Christian will face the winner of Greenport vs. Chateaugay on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. North Star Christian, which trailed 12-11 at the half, was buoyed by a big second half as it outscored Sackets Harbor, 34-17.
