P.J. Ofrias, Southold/Greenport: The junior third baseman was 6-for-11 last week. He went 3-for-5 with three home runs and nine RBIs, including a grand slam in a win over Mercy on May 7. He went 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI the next day.
Matt Magliaro, Lawrence: The senior pitcher/leftfielder, who was playing with a stomach virus, threw a one-hitter and struck out 10 in a win over Great Neck North on May 5. He went 2-for-3 with two walks, two stolen bases, one run and an RBI. He missed school the following day and didn't play. In the final game, he went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings for the save.
