Who is the best overall baseball player in long island? You would never guess but the best baseball talent lies in hempstead new york. Scouts need to open up there eyes and really start watching out for this kid. His name is William Carmona. I know , I know he plays at hempstead but dont be fooled. William is a switch hitting shortstop that has the ability to end a game at any point with one swing. His arm strength is exceptional as well as his defense, not only can he hit for power but also hits for average. Do not let those overrated athletes blind you. There is a saying that I have always driven myself by and it goes like this, never judge a book by its cover (hempstead), and you can find a diamond in the ruff if you really look hard. This summer William is playing for the long island tigers organization. Check out the stats for yourself, he is the real deal trust me.
