Week 11 poll: All coming together

By Adam Abramson

Rapid-fire. Apartment hunting in the morning. Must sleep.

25. Connecticut
Can salvage it with a win against WVU.

24. Kentucky
The Cats can really make things wacky with wins the next two weeks (at UGA, vs. UT).

23. Penn State
Hello Alamo Bowl.

22. Michigan
Ryan Mallett will be a very good quarterback in time.

21. Virginia
Virginia Tech is the only thing in the way for the Cavs. Still not a believer in the offense.

20. Tennessee
Control their own destiny to the SEC title game. We'll talk more about this later in the week.

19. Boise State
Can we just have Boise State-Hawaii already?

18. Wisconsin
It could have been such a better season, but it's still been a decent one.

17. Clemson
They're heating up. NBA Jam T.E. style.

16. Illinois
Lot of weapons in Champagne.

15. Boston College
I was impressed with last weekend's win over Cincinnati, but the Huskies are far from being out of the woods.

14. Hawaii
See No. 19.

13. Florida
I get fatigued just watching that offense run.

12. Texas
Finally, a nice effort from the Horns. Jamaal Charles is a bad dude. Real bad.

11. Virginia Tech
I have to say, the Hokies surprised me. Tyrod Taylor is the truth.

10. Southern California
Will they wake up against the Sun Devils? How unfair would that be.

9. Georgia
Could be the hottest team in the country at this point.

8. Arizona State
If there was ever a time to be sharp, it would be right now. It's been too special to slip.

7. Ohio State
Is the spread the Big 10's kryptonite?

6. Missouri
Can't get stuck in a trap game this weekend against Kansas State.

5. West Virginia
Few big ones left. Hold on to the football, please.

4. Kansas
They have a trap game of their own against a pest of an Iowa State team. But the Jayhawks are crushing people at this point.

3. Oklahoma
If Georgia's not the hottest team in the country, it could be Oklahoma.

2. Oregon
Watch them on Thursday. The Ducks are a ton of fun on offense.

1. LSU
Back where they should be.

Adam, no one commenting on your Top 25? Could it be that most people outside of Lawrence, Kansas agree that Oregon & LSU are the two best teams in the country (for now)?

And maybe a couple of folks in Hawaii - But they're to busy out surfing (real waves not the Internet) :-)

Ryan Mallet will be a good qb?? Are you crazy? He may be the most inaccurate QB i've ever seen. And he stands there like a statue ala Drew Bledsoe...

Its going to a long 4 years for myself and other Mich fans

otherwise your top 25 is good
