Change of plans for me ... and Pitt

By Adam Abramson

Here's the skinny. I have to spend all evening preparing for an interview with Newsday's football columnist Bob Glauber (or as we call him in the office "Fresh Pizza"). If you're an NFL fan, I suggest checking out his stuff -- he knows more than all of us combined.

That means I have to put off the Top 10 players for another night. However, I will post in the morning about one thing or another.

While I'm sure this ruins your day, it probably isn't going as poorly as Dave Wannstedt's. The Pitt coach found out his stud freshman quarterback has suddenly left campus to deal with an undisclosed personal issue, according to an Associated Press report.

Pat Bostick, a top quarterback prospect by all recruiting services last year, was challenging Bill Stull for the starting job and probably would have won it.

Actually, we'll broach this subject and more in the morning. Gotta prep for tomorrow.

Be cool.

Wannstedt has two things always working against him: 1.) he coaches at Pitt. 2.) He's Dave Wannstedt.
