And to think I spent the morning poised at my PC waiting to ask a question about whether Jay Feely had proper hip rotation of the missed FG. Instaed, I could have used the time to fret over Isiah, my diminished standard of living, running into a former girlfriend and her new guy (gave me a pang), the health of Kim Jung Il, getting rid of the clutter in my apartment,
Do you suppose the Newsday techies are auditioning for Jets coaching jobs.
RC M, could be worse, spent all morning wating for my contractors to show up for their 10am, now three hours late and counting.
It doesnt look good for this Sunday,considering that the jets have looked terrible against teams that the Bills are levels above. The Bills while close stat wise to the jets are a much more cohesive and together team than the jets, and playing in Buff makes them that much better.
This Sunday is huge in that there is alot of pressure on the jets to show that they can play with, while not a great team, but a solid one. They lose, their confidence will be shot. After the KC game, it looked like a funeral in the locker room according to reporters. They need this win to have a shot at the post season, not record wise but momentum and morale wise. The time is Sunday or the cat will be out of the bag that we fans have been fooling ourselves.
Will Mangini balance out the offense and give more touches to our play makers? Will Mangini be more aggressive on defense? Will Mangini adjust on the fly? Will Mangini attack the Bills weak areas? I doubt it , so I am going on any given Sunday for my only hope and a hell of alot of luck !
Wayne, I felt the same yesterday but i buy into those #'s being very close. Bottom line this game is even. Jets beat Cards,Bills lose to Cards. Jets choke at Oakland and Oakland chokes the last minute at Buffalo. I can't believe Favre will have 4 bad games in a row. Its time for this team to step up and play a real game especially the defense. So for one more week i go with the Jets and say Jets 24 - Bills 23.

Mangini is a glorified ball boy that works very hard. Too bad he is NOT a head coach.

They cannot motivate. They cannot scheme. They cannot call plays. They cannot draft. They do NOTHING !!
The experiment is over. Cut the cord. Move on.
Favre deal is horrendous. Going to set the franchise back ANOTHER three years. The first draft pick was HORRIBLE.
I mean wake up Woody Johnson, and if you do not care....SELL THE TEAM !!!

This game will come down to if we can run the ball successfuly and get pressure on TE. The Bills have a 13th ranked pass defense and if Favre gets wild again ,it will be over before it starts.
While the teams stats are close a huge edge goes to the bills ST. Also the Bills have a more balanced defense. The run defense, the jets have a slight edge, but the bills blow us away in pass defense. It is not even close.
It is hard for me to believe the jets can pull this off on lately how they have played. The bills are a huge upgrade over the teams that the jets have struggled with as of late.
Then again, if the jets play a balanced game and play to win , ie aggressive on D and run the ball with a smart passing attack by Favre anything is possible.
The butterflies are starting already ! This game will dictate the rest of the season. Pretenders or contenders ?
It's Tuesday, Ira, and i'm hopping aboard your Buffalo bandwagon. I could pick the reasons we could lose and list them, and have no hope for Sunday. Scottp's got that covered. I could rant in all caps about our organizational ineptitude like firemangini. Both have very valid points. There has been a lot to be desired about this Jets team.
I think i'm going to blindly drink some of that green kool-aid and root for those sunsabastiches on Sunday. Life is too short to hate the ones you love. Go Jets!
