Per Roger’s request, though probably not exactly what he had in mind.
Tom blogged about this in early April and last week our news desk wrote about Flight Crew tryouts. But, as the old saying goes, there is value in repetition.

For the record, I did not pilfer this picture from Bob Glauber or Neil Best's blog, though I'm sure it's in both of their archives.

I don't care about the cheerleaders...I care about the football team. Why is there a Giants headline on the Jets page? I am a Jets fan, not a Giants fan. I think it's time for me to stop looking towards Newsday to give me my Jets fix...
Mmmmmm cheeeeer leaders.
Boland, ya gotta find out if there's a calendar on the way.
Wow, Deb sounds a little angry there...nothing wrong with a little flight crew fix from time to time.
I was more pissed off about the Giants headline than the flight crew. Newsday dissin' my Jets again.
But really, I'm sick of hearing about the cheerleaders...there are female fans out here who could use a few male members on the squad (although they'd probably be gay...which would ruin it!).
During the last year of the Edwards debacle, I did the Jets package to the Pats/Jets game (I live like 40 mins from foamy stadium). Since the team tanked, all the stuff promised (a Sat night meet and greet with old timers was what I remember advertised). It was replaced with tix to the Pats pregame shindig under the doame. The food and bevs were good, but those damn Pats cheerleaders were everywhere. To top it off, it was freakin's cold, snowing and I took and iceball to the back of my neck for cheering on Ben Graham's punt (that was the only thing worth cheering for that game!) So, I guess I don't like cheerleaders ;-) I want football!!!
I hear ya, Deb...must be rough being a Jet fan in patsy territory!
