This is the danger of writing on the web. The immediacy is great but so are the pitfalls.
A post or so ago we reported that Domonique Foxworth is working with the Broncos on a long-term extension, info we got from a source. Well, just got off the phone with someone with far greater knowledge of the situation who said: "Nope."
Turns out the Broncos and the cornerback aren't talking about an extension or a long-term deal.
The good news is that the part about the Jets and Broncos discussing D-Rob is on the mark, and for Jets fans, that's the most important part.

Hey Tom,
Keep up the great work with these blog posts. I check them daily since they are the best source for up-to-the-minute Jets news.
What would you say the chances are that Robertson will be a Bronco next season? 50-50 at this point or better?
I'd say the chances that he'll be a Bronco are probably 60-40, a little bit better than even, just because of Denver's needs. Now, the chances that Robertson WON'T be a Jet this season are getting close to 100 percent.
Thanks for the info TR. Keep up the good work and let us know if this deal gets any closer to completion! If Robertson is still a Jet by Draft Day next month, I think the Jets would be forced to cut him June 1st since the other teams would have most likely found a player to fill the same role for less $$.
I agree...there is a 0.000001 chance (if that) that D-Rob is on this roster on opening day.
How good is Foxworth though? If we land him is he good enough to start opposite Revis?
foxworth will never be a Jets and bronc will only send a seventh rounder for him Period.
At this point I say take the 7th rounder and run! Come June 1st we'll just end up releasing him for nothing anyway.
