Eric Mangini promised a shake-up, and he has delivered. David Clowney, the obvious reason why the Jets are losing, has been released.
Just kidding. Clowney had nothing to do with the Jets’ fate. Literally. The receiver was signed on Oct. 3 and inactive for three games. The move likely makes room for the return of LB Matt Chatham to the active roster. Chatham has been on the PUP list since training camp began and he finally started practicing last week.
If anyone can save the Jets, No. 58 can.

Great line, Rocket.
Baby steps, baby steps...
why is it so hard for people to realize the offense isn't the problem...
when kenny watson runs for 130 and 3 tds it's obvious what the problem is...
we need a DT for the 3-4... they better grab Dorsey from LSU if he's healthy.
Dorsey wouldn't solve the problem all by himself. Dorsey would work best as a 4-3 tackle or a 3-4 end. Man'jerk' needs to admit that his 3-4 Patriots style defense is not suited to his teams' personnel. Man'jerk' will run a potentially great MLB (Jonathan Vilma) out of NY with his insistence on keeping this so-called defense.
sorry to say, but us jet fans are faced with another season of same old jets..
ugh can't we get this thing straightened out and actually have a nice run with a future????
