Pennington update
I don’t normally take requests, but here’s the update on Chad:
He participated fully in practice this afternoon's and took most of the snaps with the first team. He threw a full slate of passes, and while some of them seemed to have a little taken off of them, a couple had zip. The ones that floated may have been part of the drills. He said afterwards he was curious himself how the shoulder would react, and said he was fine and felt no discomfort.

This update is reallt appreciated, Tom.
Thanks... get some rest ;)
You don't normally take requests? Why is that Tom? Could it be that answering Jets fans' questions about the team is not really your function? You might want to remember that the next time you start snivelling about a tight-lipped Mangini.
Since you *are* taking requests now, how about "Proud Mary"? Or any CCR, really.
Hey jdubya, not for nothing, but Rock is the ONLY one that hasn't cried like a little girl about Mangini's tight lips. There's enough of whimpering like little kittens from the rest of them, that it just seems that way.
lets face it chad is finished and so is martin.lets turn the page and move on.use this year too find the future.get rid of coles too.turn the page completely
Relax Jet fans, it is only the first pre season game with many new faces and a new staff with entirely new system to digest, played against a pretty good football team.
Just look for week to week improvement. There are 15 players returing that played key roles two years ago, things will not be as bad as you all think.
I saw good coaching and sound play calling and game management. Chad looked good. We ran over 10 plays on both drives against their first string defense. The first half looks different if we get the fumble call and we hit the two shots in the endzone. Not a bad start.
Hey Michael, they took my virtual beatdown on ole racist bob down too. They keep the original racist remarks, but clean up our literary smackdown on that pointy hood wearing nut.
Did anyone else notice the fine game management against the Bucs? I think the Jets will have bumps along the way, but i know they will surprise a lot of media-types who have buried them for the season.
hey mikey and mr.t get lost we are serious jet fans. i think the popular choice is clement so go for him. trade for ascott from tampa he is a smart runner
