Pierce's injury report
Tom Coughlin may have been a little vague about injuries, suggesting that there might be (but hoping there won't be) a few players who could miss practice time when the team gets back on the field on Wednesday.
Antonio Pierce gave his own rundown of the injury report, and it included no one:
"Come Wednesday I'm pretty sure everybody on our team will be able to practice. I think it's just something that you have to make it happen. We need to make this like a Wednesday for the last two or three weeks, or this could be our last Wednesday of the season. People need to come to that realization and understand that. I'm pretty sure that they will, and they'll be ready on Wednesday, ready to play, ready to practice, doing what we need to do to get a win against Philly."

Pierce is so funny yet what he is saying is so true. This is the gosh darn playoffs ladies and gentlemen and if the Giants want to repeat they need all hands on deck practicing. The Eagles were beat up an extra week more than we were so they need to recover. The 5 guys on the injury report last week should be raring to go. Lets go GMEN and march to the super bowl.
How beautiful is it that the Giants are quietly becoming the underdog in this game. Although the point spread will have them favored by 3 or 4, most experts are siding with the Eagles. Is there a better team in the NFL that thrives off being disrespected than NY? I don't think so. And this Eagles team has nothing in comparison with last year's Giants team. After Week 15, the Giants had three key contributors into the offense that the playoff teams hadn't seen before: Boss, Bradshaw and Smith. The Eagles have the same cast of characters and the Giants will be ready on Sunday. www.profootball101.org
It is true that the experts are amazingly going with Eagles. They don't seem to remember the Eagles win in NY included Dixon's dropped 7 points, and several dropped passes that stopped Giants drives in Eagles territory, they also seem to forget the Giants opening drive going right down the field until botching a ill timed end around. All of these facts suggest the Giants simply beat themselves in the last game. Truth is Eagles need BIG plays to win and Ginats simply need to execute in order to not defeat themselves. I think Ginats executie and win the game handily.
