Giants trivia

We mentioned earlier that Aaron Ross was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week. The Giants get those awards from time to time -- Osi had two of them last year and Strahan had a bunch. But here's the question:

Who was the last defensive back to get that honor?

The hint is you have to go back 10 years.

Click below for the answer.

The last defensive back to win NFC Defensive Player of the Week was safety Percy Ellsworth in Week 16 of the 1998 season for a game against the Chiefs.

The last cornerback to win the award was Phillippi Sparks in Week 12 of that 1998 season after a game against the Eagles.
