Eli Manning update
The QB is on the air with Michael Kay on ESPN Radio here in NY and said he underwent an MRI and x-rays on his chest today but they revealed no damage. He said he is simply "banged up" and will be available to play on Sunday.
But what Manning considers banged up and soreness could be enough to slow him down. Last year, after he hurt his shoulder in the opener, he played through the discomfort but wasn't particularly effective.
We'll see if he practices tomorrow when the Giants return to work. He said he expects to be there.

I dont think it will affect him that much, at least not as much as last years injury affected him.
It is on his non throwing shoulder/side.
I think the Giants will get back on tract sunday. Maybe the loss will be a blessing in disguise type of thing.
Get all the bugs (so to speak) out, and make sure all the players are grounded.
You think Eli's injury is unfortunate? Look at the cowboys and Tony Romo! He's out 3-5 weeks with a broken pinkey on his throwing hand. Yeah, I'd say we're better off right now with our situation than they are. But the cowboys just got Roy Williams from my hometown Lions on trade deadline. THAT SUCKS!! Go Giants!
