The worst first question

OK, so we're away from the team for a little while. They'll fly to Detroit later, play their game Thursday night, go back to Albany (sans Daddy Tollefson who is off to Omaha), and return to practice on Saturday. On Friday, though, Tom Coughlin will have a post-game conference call with the media.

That got me to thinking: What's the absolute worst imaginable first question that could be asked on that call. I spoke to a few of my media cohorts, and based on how it would have all of us scrambling in a million directions, came up with this one

"Tom, there's a report on ESPN that says as surgeons were re-attaching Eli's ripped-off arm, Jerry Reese was on the phone to Green Bay. Can you comment on that?"

Let's hear what you think? What's the worst imaginable first question. Keep it clean!

Tom, what was your reaction to the trade sending Tuck, Jacobs and Ross to Dallas for T.O, Pacman Jones and Tank Williams?

Tom, what are you plans for getting a TE now that Boss and the other two TE's suffered season ending injuries?

Lol, Tom...

My first thought was, "So...any truth to the rumors that Favre is on his way to Albany?"

Coach -

Why do you think Eli tried to punch out Shawn Cody on the first play? Any chance he can throw left handed for rest of season? I doubt the Jets will trade you Brett since he had such a great game in Cleveland.

Shockey was out on Bourbon Street last night, he claimed to be the father of "at least one" of your grandchildren? Do you have any comment? And where is Snee?

Tom .... Is it true that Strahan wants to un-retire and wants to be traded to the Buc's ????

Tom, how do you feel about tiki-tight-suit coming out of retirment to join you on opening day?

What's the single secret, that if made public, would be most damaging to the NY Giants?

(I actually asked Bob Glauber this question during his first web chat... the moderator didn't put it through, later when I posted it to Bob, he refused to answer.)

I think Coughlin has better secrets than BG.

Hehe. bluestreak stole mine. How do you plan to work Tiki Barber into the offense this season? How will that affect team chemistry? Has Eli spoken to Tiki yet?

Tom, Which former Giant are you hoping to motivate the team this year? Gibril? Michael? Kawika? Any thoughts? Have you spoken to any of them about taking over this role?

Tom, How long do you and your players dwell on the bad performance by the offense last night in motown?
