Pre-practice update

Plaxico Burress (ankle) and T Kareem McKenzie (cold) won't practice, but TC said the other five players on the injury report would be working in some capacity.

James Butler (hamstring) will "start to do some work," TC said; Gibril Wilson (knee) is scheduled to practice. Kevin Dockery (hip flexor) should be OK, though he will do very little today. Sinorice Moss (back) is scheduled to do limited work, as is Brandon Jacobs (hamstring), whose injury is still about the same.

Also saw Jeremy Shockey hobbling out of the stadium on crutches. His surgery is Friday.

arthur, this trip to buffalo could be a 12 millon dollar business trip for coughlin. i hope he has the skills to seal the deal.

I feel bad for Shockey. I know a lot of people don't like him, but I feel like he is a real competitor, and a true New York Giant whose main goal is to help this team win.

He'll always have my respect after last year's Eagle game in the playoffs. You could see him trying to get everyone into the game and even dove into a group of tackers without his helmet.

Moss available for limited work? Lucky us. Maybe he'll get us another of those much-needed first downs in key situations.

Did anyone else notice how much better Steve Smith looked than Moss, why are we still trying with this guy? Smith is a much better reciever, and is a better fit for Manning taller and can leap. Moss is short and fast and gets lost in the defense. Not to mention Smith isnt afraid of contact.

Real tough loss for shockey, although I felt like they didnt utilize him enough, he was mostly there for blocking (even though he is a great blocker), He is also a great reciever, and very dangerous in the red-zone

He always brought that emotional aspect to the game, and was always fun to watch. Like the game after he spiked the ball, the next game he gently placed it on the ground. Always a fun guy to watch

Anyone saying that Eli doenst have enough emotion, can certainly say that Shockey provided the emotion for both of them.

Was kindof suprised he didnt get an "C" on his jersey for captian, but then agian there are alot of leaders on the offense

Should be intresting to see how the rookies play, with such great shoes to fill, Boss has been pretty good this season though, and might want to throw Matthews some sticky gloves, and we will be good to go.

Anyways, Buffalo is a pretty tough place to play, but since we're on the road, I have complete confiendence in them, and since all our playoff games will be on the road.......who knows what will happen.

I kind of like Smith and Moss in there, Smith has good hands, but Moss, defenders always give him some cushion room, and he always has a chance to break one, fix a few small things (running forward instead of backwards for example) he can be very dangerous.

Archie talks about Eli. Remember people. This is Daddy talking about his loser son. This is damage control. This is not THE TRUTH.

Thanks for that interview, Dale. That was some pretty insightful stuff. I had forgotten about the shoulder injury, it seemed like ages ago. I gotta agree with the HOFer, Eli throws a pretty nice deep ball. Esepecially when the WRs hold onto it.

Dale Andersen: Your Dad talks about you as his loser son, get out of here, are you an eagles fan?
