Giants 20, Bears 10.
Here's why:
-- Eli. I've been saying over and over that he's not a gun-slinger, which can sometimes be a negative; tomorrow, it'll be a positive. He won't overreach, he'll have three backs to hand off to or throw to and the sloppy conditions should keep the offense from trying to do too much, which is when Eli gets into trouble.
-- Rex. I can imagine how the pregame, midfield QB convo would go...
Eli: Boy, Rex, did you see what I did last week? Not pretty.
Rex: Come on, bro. I had three picks in a game FOUR times last season -- and we went to the Super Bowl!!! I'm awful!
Eli: Yeah, but the Vikings again... It's just...
Rex: Shut your mouth, dude. Just keep hoisting 'em up and if your defense can't cover for you, then it's their fault. Trust me.
Eli: Thanks for the advice!
Grossman is, uh, not so good. I expect a couple of sack-fumbles, maybe a dying quail that Michael Johnson grabs for his first career INT... Stuff like that.
-- Giants on the road. They've won four straight away from Giants Stadium and they may just be a better road team, for whatever reason.
-- Fred Robbins. Expecting a monster game from No. 98 against a weak Bears interior OL, despite C Olin Kreutz still being one of the better centers around. In fact, the entire Giants front seven will have a strong day, and they'll need to, with Aaron Ross and possibly Gibril Wilson out.
I think someone referred to me as a "prognosticator" a couple weeks back... I am surely not that. But I like doing the game previews and, frankly, my guesses would be the same if I closed my eyes and pointed at one of two pieces of paper than if I "justified" them. Just a feeling, really. Take it as such.
But always feel free to rip me for being wrong.
Back after a bounce through the friendly skies to Chicago.

Still waiting for the offense to come back out of there shell, they had only 4 games over 30+ points (3 of which were back to back) (only 6 games over 20 points)
I always liked Fredd Robbins, he was always my non-favorite favorite if that makes any sense, really like him in the pass rush situtiations, he is always a factor you have to consider
Eli is no Bret Favre where the offense can simply be a pass offense, he does his best with the mix of run/pass (and play-action of course), and with Ward possibly being back, everything should fall back in place.
This game could be a shut out, as long as the defense fix those little mistakes (blown coverage for example), not kicking to D. Hester would be great (take the pentatly on the kickoff, Their offense is not going to beat our defense, take their No. 1 weapon out). And just let the Giants offense do their thing, not letting Eli do to much as you said would be great, couple short passes to get third downs and what not, maybe a shot downfield would be great also.
Feel a bit more comfortable on the road then at home, so lets put these bears to rest
Still waiting for Bradshaw to get a TD on the kickoff, maybe during the game, instead of the Giants saying dont kick it to Hester, the Bears will be saying dont kick it to Bradshaw =)
Would definitly like to see Bradshaw take some carries, just as a change of pace kind of guy (avering a nice 7 yards/carry had only 4 carries though)
Still waitng for Smith to make an apperiance, Giants desperately need that slot reciever which all the big dogs have (Pats, colts, stupid cowboys, greenbay etc...)
Hopefully the Giants will be able to tie their amount of wins last season with a win agianst the bears, then have 4 more games to add on. (stupid NFL network having the Giants vs Pats on their network)
Giants 27 Bears 23
- I don't feel very secure about picking the Gmen because this is the 2nd half of the season, it's COLD Chicago(Eli...cold......don't mix well), and well......this team does'nt play well in Nov. and Dec. games the last few years.
- This is however da Bears and it is Grossman we get to record atleast 5 sacks against so I would feel kind of stupid doubting a chance for NY to improve to an all important 8-4 tomorro.
- Derrick Ward comming back should be a welcomed sight compared to Droughns or Bradshaw. And the offense as a whole should be better compared to last week so Eli, Please don't force any stupid s**t and the Giants should be o.k.
- Devin Hester WILL score on a kick return once but it won't be enough. GO GMEN!!!!
Bears 23, Giants 10
Hopefully, this is the beginning of the end of the Eli Manning era. Maybe he'll end up with the Colts as Peyton's backup.
He's not going to be any better than he is right now. And the Giants will never go ANYWHERE post-seasonwise with Eli. EVER.
In the hierarchy of quarterback heroism, I put Eli slightly above Gino Torretta, Andre Ware, Ty Detmer, Sean Salisbury and Heath Shuler. And just below Dick Shiner and Kent Nix.
LOL @ Dale. He's just a leeeetle bit better than Gino "One Touchdown" Toretta.
