Get me rewrite! Plax practices

Guess TC didn't get the memo... Me either.

Burress practiced today, doing all the individual drills and "mixing it up" in the team drills. He said the soreness in his sprained right ankle is at a more manageable level than it'd been before the bye week, and the 10 days of treatment got him to the point where he was cleared to practice today.

Can't be sure what that means for the rest of the week, and I dare not speculate. Too many times being wrong.

Not much else new from the locker room... No trash talk, no bulletin-board material from anyone, particularly Brandon Jacobs, who talked some trash before the season opener and ended up with a sprained knee for his troubles.

"I haven't said a thing about anyone, kept my mouth shut and I've had over 100 yards three times," he said. "That's the way it's going to stay."

woot

Is Steve Smith going to be available this week? With Newman back in their lineup and adding Tank Johnson in the middle Eli's going to need all the weapons we have.

Really? Tank Johnson wasn't that spectacular with the Bears, and has pretty much been an above average DT his entire career. He hasn't played a game in 8 weeks and probably won't get many snaps because hes not in game shape (Strahan sound familiar). I think Tank is being made out to be a lot better then he really is because he was in the news so much for having more guns then a Wesley Snipes movie.

Trouble with Tank's guns is that he lived in a city where guns are illegal. Oooops. Hey Tank, we'll let ya own a personal firearm in Texas!

Arthur, thumbs up on the video. Is 'Arthur Online' going to be a weekly installment or just a one time deal for the big game?

I'm not worried about stank Johnson as much as I am about the Giants' ability to shoot themselves in the foot in a game that has so much on the line. Yeah this might be a "different team", but the Gmen don't play well in games of this magnitude very often so we'll just see on Sunday how good we really are!! Don't hate me for this...............Dallas 31 New York 21

1) Which Eli will show up on Sunday? and 2) can the D get to Romo often enough to rattle his timing & delivery? (if not, we are so done!). Dallas will defend to stop the run and give the Jints all the air-time they want and the real Eli WILL show up - we are toast... By the way, is Shockey still on the team?

Ouch Arthur that had to sting. But hey, football coaches lie. Some of them even cheat. 2 big questions for you...

Do you think the "three man rotation" at safety will put all three of them on the feild at the same time in a dime package? At the expense presumably of McQuarters or Webster as the 4th CB. That gives you a better matchup for Witten and a better blitzing option.

Does Dallas expect Tank Johnson to play the whole game? What is he ready to do? Coughling would have to attack that middle when he's not there. And go our typical route, off tackle, when he is clogging up the middle.

A DE and a DT in and out of game shape are 2 different things Tanks sole job is to fall donw and be a fat slob to clog running lanes. If he can stand there and be a fat mess and force O'Hara to stay on him longer to push him out of the way there's no one getting to the second level and putting a hand on Brady James, presumably shutting down any inside run game. And yes I know we run off tackle alot but Ware is a great athlete who can get outside and contain the run and Ellis isnt to shabby himself. Establishing the run is key, if Jacobs lands a few blows on he safties and OLB's and runs one or two of them over they are going to bite harder on that PA and Plax eats Newman and Williams alive on those deeps PA passes. (see the first drive of the last two games.)
