Giants are doing great considering its a rebuilding year..... They'll be even better next year! Eli is doing a fine job. Plax is hurt and isn't practicing, take away a great receiver and look what happens. Look at Peyton without Marvin.
Rebuilding year?!?!?!?!? What surprises me is that the Giants are actually FAVORED in Detroit! Don't get me wrong. I'm glad the Giants are 6-3, it could've been worse at this point in the season. I still think they'll win on Sunday, but this is an underachieving group, not a rebuilding one. If this team plays up to it's true potential week after week, it would go 12-4 every season at least. But these guys always underachieve. The Giants should blow the Lions out of the water in their own house but that won't happen because they have absolutely no killer instinct in close games.

The G-men aren't playing the way #56 lives. Its US or THEM. Eli et al. want to win, as we all do, but the're not willing the opposition into defeat. Defend all those delay-of-games, bad calls...LT wouldn't care. Shockey gets it, but they think hes just being Shockey. Eli dosen't get it. Others do, and they need to lead the team. Teams will not fear us until we make them, and that may not be until we HURT them. If that what it takes, so be it. Its US or THEM. That is whats missing.
