Winston, it is true that I'm not going to London. Glauber will be there, so check in with him for your Giants updates from across the pond. I'll be back with you on Tuesday.

I agree with ya Arthur 35-3 Gmen. It might be close in the 1st Qtr. Next time during the show, ask Papa why noone ever talkes about Eli's progress on the show. Go Giants! phuck the cowboys.

WOW ,,I just got done watching GiantsOnline on Giants.com and I was very dissapointed to hear you were not going over their..To the owners of newsday,,the only reason I buy Newsday is for Giants coverage during the season,,I am a long islander..I also know about 100 other Giants fans who also enjoy Newsday for their Giants coverage who are also very dissapointed in you for not Giving enough coverage for this important game..All I have to say is get it together..The Giants are the only thing going in NewYork sports and the fact that you are not Covering it is shamfull..I am hopeful you will leaRN from this...By the way this is a top blog on the Net for Giants football..LETS GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arthur:
As a life long Giants fan and one of the very few suppporters( among my crowd of tailgaters) of number 11 when he came out of Moorehead (where?) State, and as I recall, it took Phil 6 years to really find his groove as the team evovled, injuries included, the point - Easy's a football player who plays quarterback and he's ONLY going to get better having been in the league 4 years.
However, I'm actually writing to express my delight in the play of our number one pick, I can't remeber the last time a Giants first round pick actually played like a number one, LT excluded. However, I suspect that Michael Johnson, if given the chance will develope into a fine safety to compliment Aaron Ross. Good times could lie ahead.
Imagine a cover secondary to go with this DLine. Cool.

Arthur, great job as always, and it's too bad you didn't get sent over to London to cover the game. Maybe you've earned bad karma by making fun of Blauber, and so he was chosen for the junket.

Question: what movie was being referred to in the interview with Feeley? It had to do with a lot of press people's appearances. Everyone was laughing about it so much, it sounds like it might be worth tracking down.

Arthur, Your comment on Giants Online, did you "leave your T-back in The Green Room" or did you "leave your tea, back in The Green Room"? LOL.

fitz,

I agree with your critcism of Art for not going and the poor coverage of this game. I have recently moved my viewing to another blog, from another area paper (which I do not read, other than his online blog) b/c he DOES go to London and his coverage week to week kicks butt over this blog. MG consistently trumps Artyboy with news, updates, stories, tidbits purtaining to the Gmen (as opposed to filling the blog pages wtih crap about your favorite songs b/c he has nothing to add of interest regarding the Gmen). Enjoy.

13-10 Giants. A win is a win but I was hoping we'd get more from the passing game. Still though, B. Jacobs was great with 131 rush yards and the D was really good too. Perfect timing for a week off to concentrate on Colts-Pats next week then.......Bring on the cowboys!

Game was very reminiscent of the Houston game last year, where they won 14-10 to go to 6-2 on the season. They looked terrible in that game also, and won only because they were playing a horrible team. Same here.

And you know what happened after that game last year - yeah, they lost 6 of their next 7. This worries me a lot. If they can't play any better against a terrible Dolphins team, with Cleo Lemon as starting QB, I am not very optimistic about the next game when they play an actual good team...

Arthur, you might want to make sure BG checks the media guide -- and his editor does, too -- the next time he replaces you for game coverage. The Giants started 6-2 for the last THREE years, not four. In 2004 they were 5-2 before blowing a 14-0 lead at home to the Bears in a 28-21 loss.

Also, how could he be watching the game if he was in the stands interviewing fans for his column? A column which, by the way, forgot to mention the fact that the large majority of the fans at the game were Americans. A market for the NFL in England? What a crock! Soccer is the most popular sport in the world and there's barely even a market for it for it here in the States.

Furthermore, you might want to make sure BG actually answers his own questions in the Q&A section next time.

Lame coverage this week, man. We didn't even get a friggin' report card like the 1-7 Jets. Weak.

Was Glad to see the Giants keep on rolling (6-2, Probably the hottest team not named Colts or Patriots)

Bit of a rought game in London, the field did not look to great, got a little concern when Stranhan was being worked on (looked like he was in a lot of pain) B. Jacobs is looking good really good. Tiki who?

Glad to see my man Bradshaw get a return, and not cough up the ball (still getting better return yards than Reuben, specially when they say its a game about inches, but i guess its all about ball security)

Definitly need some improvement in all fields b4 we face dallas, and the Bye couldnt of come at a better time, get Plax and Ward rested (those missed practices are starting to take affect on Plax, couple misses)

Special teams is like two steps forward, one step back. Improved coverage on kick offs, but still had a missed FG (those errors are gonna hurt the Giants when they face tough teams like Dallas)

Looking forward for Eli to have a Great game vs the cowboys, think he had a QB ratitng of 113 the first game, and watch our defense put the fear in Romo. Specially since everyone is considering the Cowboys on top of the Giants, maybe we will change a few minds come that sunday, until then Pats vs Colts will do
