I bet they feel silly now.
Why was he on the sideline? They gave Webster the start over him? Was he injured?
glad he didnt sit too long, great game for the rookie. I forgot what a good cornerback looked like.....
Aaron Ross will be really good for a long time. We'll win a lot more games with defense like that(3int's) than to win only with sacks. The Giants are becoming a contender in the NFC real fast. But they have to stop playing catch-up after halftime so much. Hell yeah, 3-2. Keep those victories comming Gmen.
Eli passer rating in first half = 0.0 (that's Blutarsky from Animal House right there). Second half was 142.7
I love it. You have no idea which guy is gonna show up in any given quarter. Really adds some suspense to my sunday afternoons.
I like this blog much more. Ralph's blog has a bunch of fans who just criticize Coughlin and his decisions for no apparent reasons.
I fully support Coughlin for benching Ross. We wanted this team to be disciplined, and now they are. They've only gotten 10 penalties called on them in five weeks.
I just don't get how other Giants fans can get upset with Coughlin when he swings his big stick.
Isn't that what we wanted?
Coughlin the disciplinarian? I think not. If he was, then last year he would have benched Tiki for mouthing off to the media or Burress for giving up on the play after an interception and/or for not finishing his routes over the middle.
Major Tom is a phony and is pretty friggin' dumb if he is going to rely on Corey "Toast" Webster and James "The Butler Dropped It" to man the corners. Ross should be starting every game opposite Sam Madison. If Madison can stay healthy, then the Giants' secondary is looking a whole lot better than it did in the first 10 quarters of the season.
By the way, the Giants defense is on the hook for allowing 10 points over the last 10 quarters. And the Giants have beaten the Jets in four straight, their last loss in the series coming in 1993.
P.S. Whoever the Giants have watching replays to determine what to challenge must be fired IMMEDIATELY. Perhaps it's someone who simply is afraid to tell Coughlin not make his red-flag decisions based on his emotion.
