The * indicate games on the flex schedule, which can be shuffled around to primetime or the other Sunday afternoon slot.
So that's one Monday-nighter, three Sunday-nighters (for now) and one Saturday-nighter.
It's certainly not the first-half schedule they had a year ago, dotted with difficult opponents... Of course, that's when the Giants thrived last season, only to stumble against some teams you would have thought they'd beat when the schedule came out.
On a personal note, the thought of going to Buffalo two days before Christmas doesn't exactly thrill, but then, I'm off to Buffalo tomorrow morning to help cover the Isles-Sabres series, and it's gonna snow this weekend too. So I guess it just doesn't matter when you go to Buffalo.

But, come on, a trip to London should make up for the Buffalo deal!
Wheeeew... looking at this schedual compared to 2006 gives me at least a little hope we might win more than half our games this season!! But we can only hope.
I just hope the Gmen actually sweep philly this time around, we'll have to atleast go 4-2 in the division again to win it.
I love Gman's optimism. But here is a dose of reality:
1) There are so many needs on the team that they can't all be filled by the draft. They need 2 LBs, 1 OT, 1 TE, 1 Kicker and 4 DBs (not to mention a qb). If they are lucky, the draft will partially plug three of these gaping holes.
2) New offensive and defensive schemes mean that the reality is that this team won't really be ready to play until about week 7.
3) If you believe the media accounts, the team is on the verge of mutiny. As a result, a bad start to the season (see point #1 compounded by point #2) may mean the train comes off the track very early in the season.
The good news is we won't have to worry about the times of any of these games being switched b/c none of the networks will want the Gints. In spite of the less onerous schedule than last year, my prediction is no more than 5 wins (more likely 3).

Wake up man. . . the Eagles are gonna kick the Giants' asses so forget about winning the division and start praying for a winning record. . . your trainwreck of a QB is a loser, right out of the Jeff George school of quarterbacking.
The Tiki/Eli bitch fighting sessions will be more interesting than watching the G-girls.
the giants are not using the players they have to where they can get the most out of them.Bradshaw should be playing to offset the giants running game ,MIX SHOULD BE IN THE MIX , GET IT,heck i can and do make most of the calls that they send in to Eli. ELI IS NOT AT FAULT WITH THE FAILURES OF THIS COORDINATORS STUPID AND PREDICTABLE PLAYS THAT ARE SENT IN, WHEN WILL THEY LEARN..... sometime s i think he is making a bit more money from somewhere else , they are PROS or so i thought.....
