And Brandon Short is not. Ah well. Thought he was coming back, but not tomorrow. So Reggie Torbor gets another start at SLB and he has to be better than he was on Monday.
The other four Giants who didn't make the trip are DE Michael Strahan, DE Osi Umenyiora, CB Sam Madison and T Luke Petitgout. Sinorice Moss came along and I guess he may play, though Coughlin did not indicate that yesterday.
What will happen tomorrow? I'm usually right about these things, as you all know, so here's my detailed prediction...
Tiki Barber rushes 30 times for 186 yards. He even scores a touchdown, as does Brandon Jacobs. Eli Manning struggles again, but it's not as noticeable. Vince Young does some damage, mostly with his feet, but Travis Henry is not a factor and the Giants come up with a key fumble recovery late to seal a 24-17 win.
There you go. Inactives tomorrow afternoon.

I am resigned to the fact that if we don't get Osi and or Strahan for Dallas we're done. We need a LT desperatly but I don't see any movement towards getting one.
All our guys hurt and Arthur picking the Gmen means I can watch something else at 4. I do hope we win but it seems the odds are stacked against us.

Look these injuries are killing us...but you have to remember that the Patriots seem like they could win with high school football players.
The biggest problem isn't Eli Manning, the play calling, the running game, or the defense. The problem is that everyone is so discouraged. You cannot help but compare what is happening this season to what happened last season and it is really discouraging after starting the season with so much promise.
The 2006 season does not have to play out the same way as 2005...keep your heads up and start playing. They need to put the last two games behind them and get back on track mentally.

I wish we had a Vince Young now, at least there would be hope. Why all the comments about Eli not having his feet in the right position when he throws isn't their a quarterback coach on the team to coach him or is Coughlin at fault?
That seems like a simple thing to teach a quarterback and if he hasn't learned the basics by now who do you blame???
