Not too much news today -- LaVar Arrington (knee) didn't practice and is probable for Sunday. Not such fantastic news for Tom Coughlin, but I did mention a while back that Arrington would not be a full-week practice guy if the Giants wanted to get the most out of him. And yes, I am tooting my own horn, because that horn is rarely used, my friends.
The Colts have 18 guys listed as questionable; none of them are named Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Dwight Freeney or Robert Mathis, however, so they should be just fine.
Now, to the recent comments: Bajio, shout-outs any time, as long as you keep posting... Bob: Is Jim Irsay your uncle? Man, you are down on the Giants... Alex S.: I'm surprised they only kept two TEs, because that means an extra O-lineman like Rich Seubert, Guy Whimper or Grey Ruegamer has to be the third TE. There's got to be someone out there who can do that job better... Orlando from Orlando: I admire your taking an unpopular stance. But sometimes such stances are unpopular for a reason. Lorenzen is still all potential; Eli's done some things. Keep hope alive though.

Continue to like your blog. Good stuff on jennings, lorenzan et al. Prescient really on a number of things. Keeping pace with Ralph, Mike and Ernie.
Questions: how does the practice squad work? What is to keep opposing teams from signing guys off the practice squad of their opponents each week to pick their brains about the playbook, then dumping them?
i am not down on the giants i just think its tom the toughs 3th year thats usually when the players turn him off
hey Arthur, greaTT job with the blog!! it's been so much fun to read. will you continue with it throughout the season?
GO BLUE!!! :)
This AZ Cardinal fan is now a Giants fan. I just finished reading an article by Tom Canavan,AP about your Giants GM, Accorsi and how he adopted the care of an eleven yr. old NJ girl who lost her dad in the Towers on 9/11. He has quietly and discreetly assumed financial responsibility for this girls Catholic education after he learned that her grandparents who are raisning this child, would not be able to pay, as well as birthdays, Christmas etc. since her fathers death. Don't know what kind of a Football GM he is but he is a real MAN. 'Luck to the Giants this Sun.

like the blog format - but a real blogger wouldn't skip posting for three whole days prior to the first game of the season.

The differance was Peyton, not that he was all that good, little Archie was all that bad.If the Giants are to go to the next level they better get rid of that pant load. His football genes ran down his father's leg.
