Anquan Boldin isn't going anywhere

And he hasn't asked to go anywhere, either.

The Cardinals receiver refutes reports that he has demanded that the Cardinals trade him.

Boldin is not happy with his contract situation, especially in light of fellow receiver Larry Fitzgerald's new $40 million deal. But Boldin hasn't asked out ... yet.

The feeling here: He'll either re-work his contract this year or next year, but will not be leaving the Cardinals any time soon.

Cops had to use Taser on Cardinals' draft pick

Offensive tackle Brandon Keith, the Cardinals' seventh-round pick, was arrested and charged with three misdemeanors as a result of an incident at a party in Cedar Falls, Ariz. last month.

Keith, who played at Northern Iowa, was arrested along with two other players. He was charged with disorderly conduct, rioting and interfering with officials, all misdemeanors. Cops used a Taser on Keith when he charged at officers, according to a police spokesman.

Luis Sharpe was one of the best blockers ever

Sharpe was one of the premier left tackles of his era. But he has been on a long, downward spiral since ending his career with the Cardinals in 1994. He's about to go to prison on drug charges.

Sad.

Anquan Boldin will soon be a rich man

The Cardinals receiver is hoping to get a new deal now that teammate Larry Fitzgerald has agreed on a four-year, $40 million contract.

The only question now is whether Boldin will get a new deal from the Cardinals, or if he'll be playing elsewhere. The Cardinals would like to keep him, but the pricetag has gone up considerably.

Larry Fitzgerald just did the Giants a huge favor

Cardinals Pro Bowl receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who just might be the best receiver in football not named Randy Moss, has agreed to a four-year, $40 million contract extension.

Why is that good news for the Giants? Because it's one less option that the Eagles have to fill a glaring need for a big-time receiver. And one less headache for the Giants' secondary to deal with twice a year.

The Eagles have already tried to pry Fitzgerald away from the Cardinals, dangling cornerback Lito Sheppard as part of a package, but the Cardinals remained steadfast in their bid to retain Fitzgerald.

They were strangled on the salary cap by Fitzgerald's contract, but the extension now takes the heat off the cap and allows them to sign other players.

Sorry, Vinny

Looks like the Cardinals have gone in a different direction for their quarterback situation.

While there was early speculation that they'd go after Vinny Testaverde, they've instead settled on the younger Tim Rattay. Oh, well. Sorry, Vince. Maybe next time.

Leinart on IR; Vinny Testaverde next?

The Cardinals have placed Matt Leinart (broken collarbone) on injured reserve.

They're likely to sign ex-Jet Vinny Testaverde as insurance behind Kurt Warner.

Vinnaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
