Tom Heckert drawing interest from Browns?
We're hearing that the Browns have reached out to Eagles personnel director Tom Heckert about their vacant general manager position.
That could impact the status of Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, who has also drawn interest from the Browns. Heckert and Spagnuolo know each other from their days together with the Eagles, and there has been talk of a Heckert-Spagnuolo tandem with one of the openings out there.
The Browns are also interested in an Eric Mangini-George Kokinis (Ravens personnel director) duo in Cleveland, but the Ravens won't allow Kokinis to interview with the Browns until Sunday.
