Rocks don't change

That's an Al Groh-ism from way back, when he once explained how his son gave him a rock for a birthday present. Obviously not the fanciest or most expensive gift, but the former Jets coach, now at Virginia, has kept it on his desk ever since. "Rocks don't change," Groh would say, invoking the symbolism to make a point about consistency on the field.
Well, Newsday has its own Rock, and he doesn't change either. Always giving maximum effort, and always with a smile on his face and a dry wit that would make Stephen Wright jealous.
Rock has had quite a week with the Plaxico Burress mess. And the work in today's paper was solid as a Rock. There was this and this and this and this. Oh, and this.

I don't think it's just the comments section that is bad, but the entire web site.
All the pages load slow, hyperlinks take longer than a few seconds to react...and now there's not even a word wrap in the comments box in Internet Explorer (Firefox works OK). So what I'm typing continues on and on and on. Hurts my ability to edit my post.

Been away with the old lady - checked in with my 2nd fave blogger and see the lead post is Cornell almost wins
If that is the lead - it must have been a quiet week for my Giants?

Sedimentary rocks change.
Limestone too (add water).
And rocks with high iron ore content rust...
