Michael Strahan checked out Redskins' cheerleaders

After reading about Ben Roethlisberger's "concerns" about the Redskins cheerleaders in a previous post, a reader recalled an item about former Giants defensive end Michael Strahan checking out cheerleaders. And he, too, said the Redskins' cheerleaders were somewhat of a distraction.
In his book about what it's like to be an NFL player, co-written by FOX information man Jay Glazer and published last year, Strahan openly admitted he checked out cheerleaders during games.
"The cheerleaders are a huge, huge distraction," he wrote in "Inside the Helmet: Life as a Sunday Afternoon Warrior." "They aren't there just to distract the fans, they're used as a weapon against us, too. We stare at cheerleaders sometimes. It's against the rules for a cheerleader to date a player, but it happens all the time. I'll tell you the best girls in the league, by far, are not the famous Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders or the famed Raiderettes. It's not even close, folks. The Washington Redskins get the prize in my book. Every single one of those girls is stunning."
I had written about Strahan's admission in a blog post shortly after the book came out. Others followed suit.
Have a great weekend, LTmLT. Maybe you can snuggle up with one of Faulkner's classics like "Light In August" or "Absalom Absalom."

Bob,
I do have something (actually someone) better to snuggle up with this weekend, besides Faulkner (and she's become a Giants fan over the past few years!). But will consider adding those to my reading list after the football season.
And sure, you've come up with a reason to post 2 pictures of A hot Redskins cheerleader, but with Big Ben's AND Strahan's comments, I would expect you could find more than just one hot cheerleader. Surely they have others. "Every single one of those girls is stunning."- M. Strahan.
I will need photographic evidence, of course. But feel free to spread out the postings a bit over time. Perhaps every time you mention Best, you include a pic of a Redskins cheerleader. Then maybe your obsession won't be so hard for us to take.
You have a great weekend too. And a good weekend to all the other commenters as well.
Uh..... I second, endorse, or vote for, sponsor, approve of the message, agree with, make it so, and anything else that qualifies LT's last comment.
