Palin is from Alaska ... Best once worked in Alaska ... Chilkoot and Best hung out in Alaska - at Chilkoot Charlie's ... Best used to cover football and now covers sports media ... Chilkoot is a Chargers fan and a card-carrying member of Glauber Nation ... and he asked a question on yesterday's live chat ... which, by the way, was a very good one thanks to all the fine questions put forth. I saw that BBiB! was left hanging in the questions box. We won't let that happen again.

All the respect in the world to Mssr's Charlie and Best who "hung out" in Koots....but I LIVED in Koots.....and the Bush Co., and The Fly By Night Club, and the Cheechako, and the Bird House, and Huppy's Roadhouse (in WASILLA!!!), and Darwin's Theory, and PJ's, and the Cabin Tavern (where the grass grows over your head, not under your feet), and various other tawdry establishments on the South end of Spenard Road which featured street advertising that included "Santa Claus Comes Here, Ho Ho Ho"
I still have every cancelled check that I ever wrote in Koot's.
