Still can't beat Best, but this is even better

Neil Best can win the monthly page views war, but I'll take the La Monica e-mail shoutout to the Newsday bigwigs any day. newman.jpg

Best bested us yet again in March, but we set a record that we never even knew existed. We set yet another personal best last month, which, according to La Monica was the sixth straight month of increased traffic. That's a Newsday.com record, the web guru says. As ML put it, we "set a record for setting records."

Best pointed this out, while at the same time patting himself on the back for widening his page views lead by month's end. Of course, we took a week off from blogging to spend some time with the family. Best had the week off, too, but he couldn't help himself and posted away ad nauseum.

So, thanks once again, dear readers, for your loyal support. Even in a month when there were no NFL games and a week off from blogging, you pushed us to record heights.

We'll continue to reward your loyalty with more blog stuff. And continue to be Best's version of Seinfeld character "Newman" in the process.

Your blog smells like French toast!

At least you are ahead of the Giants blog, because nobody reads it since it hasn't been updated, since before the Green Bay game!!
