Pacman shouldn't hold his breath about reinstatement

Pacman Jones will apply for reinstatement this week, but it would be a major upset if NFL commissioner Roger Goodell decides to put him back in the league's good graces that quickly.

Jones hopes to be traded to the Cowboys, although talks have bogged down in recent days. But Goodell said at the NFL owners meetings in Palm Beach earlier this montht that he had no plans to change his timetable for any possible reinstatement. Goodell has said he will address the matter before the start of training camp. Goodell also shot down any speculation that he might rule sooner if circumstances - i.e. a trade - dictated a quick resolution.

By the way, a Kendalling update:

Resolution is near, I am closing in on a multifaceted consulting position. Like the formerly Green O Lineman it will be with a new employer. Entirely possible I might be able to entertain you as a legit expense, as Football is at the crux of the business. Should be closing this week, I will more diligent about updates.

Looking forward to the draft.

By the by, please question Best re: Dead Bastards at the Rongovian Embassy. If he cannot answer the question I would call Day Hall to inquire. I'm quite sure Lamonica knows his way around Turmansburg.

Keep us posted, Craig. Sounds like it's all working out.

I will inquire of Best regarding your question.
