Tom Rock is clearly behind the times.
Newsday's football scribe mentioned today that the Jets will be holding tryouts for the "Flight Crew," which is basically their recently introduced cheerleading squad.
Why in the world Rock didn't accompany the post with a picture of a cheerleader is beyond me. Neil Best, who will come up with the flimsiest excuse to post a picture of a pretty woman, must be quaking in his jammies down in the basement.
C'mon, Rock. Get with it already.
(Memo to JeffW, who is mortified at the number of times we've used a picture of a urinal to accompany blog posts. We hope this will soothe some of your angst.)

Maybe I have more respect for women than you do and choose not to portray them as objects so I can get a few more hits on my blog.
Or maybe I fear entering the litigious world of using photos I find on the Internet and the commands I was given to do so scrupulously are too complex for me to comprehend.
Yeah, it's definitely the second one.
