Um, Brian: Reports like that are why you SHOULD talk to the media! Hasn't anyone learned yet that silence always leads to speculation.
I sat next to Urlacher at a BJ table a few years back at a Casino here in the Land of 505..
Spent about a 1/2 hour chatting with him (and watching him play BJ like an idiot--which is why I didn't stay longer---but that's irrelevant here)- and I can understand why he is leery about talking to the press. He is very introspective....which is a nice way of saying he is extremely shy....and he does not have the greatest command the English lexicon-- which is a nice way of saying that he is a product of the Bill Richardson governed state that currently ranks about 63rd in any national state by state survey on education.
So, I would have to say that Brian Urlacher is BRILLIANT in not speaking to the press.
You guys would chew him up....(and that doesn't mean I am implying that there is any great GENIUS to being associated with the journalist world....present company excluded, of course).
