Despite a report in the Los Angeles Times that indicated Favre's agent is poking around about opportunities with other teams, a report the agent flatly denies, Favre himself says he's done.
Look, you never say never with these things, but I believe Favre when he says he's done. And if he does come back, I just can't see it happening unless it's with the Packers.
I hope it doesn't happen at all. He has crossed over the psychological line, and there is no going back now. If he does play, what good would come of it?

I don't believe he's coming back Bob. I love Favre and will miss him, but it's a good time. He had a great year, and knows that he is walking away with mostly good health, most of the QB records of all time, 1 Super Bowl win, 4 NFC championship title games, and a great last season. He is home mowing, raking, clearing brush, and hunting. Sounds like an ordinary guy who enjoys life.
Congrats on the new job with Indiana.
When it's time to get ready for week 1 and the preseason and offseason stuff is over, and Favre still has'nt shown up to play, then I'll believe he's done for good. But not untill then. I still don't feel Brett's ready to completely give it up yet. Brett Favre is still too good to stop now, even at 39.
What good of it? How about him playing like he did last season and the weather holds a little better and he wins the Super Bowl???
I don't think he should have retired unless he feels he's done, but if he wants to come back, that's his decision as well.
