I think they also look like Mad Dog Chris Russo, no?

Bob:

I submitted this to Neil Best as a reply to a recent post. But as he didn't feel it was up to his normal standards I will offer it up again. Maybe Neil was down about Cornell getting waxed by Stanford. Anyway, I will submit as look-a-likes Scott Boras and Tom Delay.

Hopefully it will resonate with you. Yes, I know, I should have come to you first. My apologies. How could I have turned to a man who writes in his basement when I should have sought out a journalist with an advanced multi-media portfolio like you.

Seriously, the blog is great. Love the frequent posts. I view it when I can.

SEF:

Just got back from a few days vaca with the wife and kids, but will get on this look-a-like. My initial thought is I think it can work. Will let you know.

Forget about Best. He's hopeless.

He was on vaca with the wife and kiddies this week too, but it looks like all he did was blog.

I guess I need to get into this blogging thing more and have my life taken over completely!

Bob:

I have to give Neil Best some credit, he did post an item some months back regarding a Buffalo Bill introducing himself as an alumnus of Half Hollow Hills West. My alma mater.

On a Hockey film note, hope you have checked out the You Tube of Patrick Roy's son acting like a goon in a junior hockey game. My immediate reaction is that the District Attorney's office in this province of Canada should be criminal charges.

Once again "Slap Shot" immitates life

One final point regarding our discussion on the theatrical movie "Miracle" a few weeks back. Billy Crystal directed the movie "61*" a number of years back. In interviews Crystal spoke of the need to provide visual integrity during the in the way the movie was portrayed. Accordingly, much of the movie was filmed at the old Tiger Stadium, which according to Crystal had some similarity to the original Yankee Stadium, Crystal's editing team then used visual effects to layer in the look of how Yankee Stadium would of appeared in this era. I think that the people who produced the movie "Miracle" could have taken a really good movie and made it special by doing similarly.

Lastly, I was in Lake Placid on business a few weeks back. I had to make the walk over to the Olympic Hockey Rink. What a thrill. Hope you have had the chance to experience this at some point in your travels.

Regards,

SEF
