In other NFL news:
* Defensive end Jevon Kearse has reached a contract agreement with the Titans, the team he starred for before going to the Eagles. He was released by Philly last week.
* The Eagles have released linebacker Takeo Spikes, who was traded to the team last year. One of the big draws for Spikes was the opportunity to play with middle linebacker Jeremiah Trotter. He was cut during training camp last year.
* The Jets have signed fullback Tony Richardson (Vikings).
* The Seahawks will talk to running back Julius Jones (Cowboys), further proof that they're concerned about the long-term viability of RB Shaun Alexander. One source familiar with the Seahawks situation told us at the Super Bowl that Alexander has "fallen off a cliff" in terms of his productivity.
* Linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo (Bears) has signed with the Ravens. The Jets had been after the special teams ace, but were beaten out by Baltimore. It probably helped that Ravens rookie head coach John Harbaugh used to be a special teams coach in Philly.

As an unfortunate soul to pick Alexander in fantasy last year, even I could have told you his productivity had fallen off a cliff. You don't need a guy from Seattle to find that out. The seahawks sound like a good fit for Jones, though. If they would've had any kind of running game last year they could have been one of the top two teams in the conference.
Any chance the Super Bowl Champs might be interested in Spikes?

Don't think so. See post above.
You have a good blog.
