Karl also reminds us that former Falcons coach Jerry Glanville, who was against drafting Favre in the second round in 1991, once said it would take a plane crash to get Favre into a game.

If my memory serves me correctly, Favre was famous in Atlanta for being able to throw the football into the upper deck stands. He would win bets before the game (or at least one bet with Glanville before the game) by throwing it into the upper deck. Not sure how many quarterbacks can do that.
