Dave W. tipped us off to this one. It's a doozy.
Steven G., we give you credit for getting the answer, but couldn't resist posting the question here again.
Here's a video of the completion. Please write your answer before watching.

I love this trivia question. When you say that Brett Favre's first completion was to a hall of famer who never caught another pass in his entire career, no one thinks the answer is Brett Favre himself. What a way to start and end a career.

I love the way you put that.

Guess again.
Bob,
It was actually with Atlanta and his first pass was intercepted and returned for a touchdown.
His first pass for Green Bay was to himself.
FYI: When Favre returned to the sidelines after his first pass was intercepted, he supposedly said "Wow, my first pass was for a touchdown." Glanville started yelling at him and said it was interecepted and the touchdown was the wrong team. Favre said "yeah, but years from now, no one will remember that."
(slight paraphrase going off my memory)
Thanks for the nice blogs about the Packers and Favre. If anyone has been to Wisconsin, you know how much Favre and the Packers mean to the state and the local communities. It is different than anything in the NYC area.
