Sorry for not getting to the weekly "Comment Contest Winner" category for a while - we got sidetracked by the Giants playing in this itty bitty thing called the Super Bowl, and we're just now starting to regain some brain cells.
Then again, we couldn't resist featuring this late-arriving comment from "Jake" regarding our post on Chad Johnson being the missing piece for the Redskins. You know, the item where we KIDDINGLY suggested the Redskins would go 19-0 if they were to trade for Johnson and SARCASTICALLY talked about how much better they'd be if only they brought Ocho Cinco into the fold.
Anyway, "Jake" evidently didn't get the memo about where we were coming from on the Johnson post, but he did provide some entertaining stuff in his response. And he gave us all a lesson in the value of American education and why we really ought to concentrate more on it in the future. Evidently, none of Jake's educators pointed out that sentences occasionally use periods at the end.
(We're kidding, Jake. Keep up the good work!)
"wow i have never heard a stupider thing in my life have u or have u not forgotten the free agents that panned out for the redskins oh wait they havent wat has moss recently done when he has done something it has been mulitple touchdown performances he isn't very consistent also we have no where near the quaterback they have they have a quaterback that has weapons around him good coaches and a good line not to mention our line sucked **** this year we were injured forever ok campbell is and will never be a brady he has poor decision making and a slow release we just got the offensive coordinator from the titans there offense was real explosive wasn't it they had wait let me quesss a 5,000 yard passer wait a 4,000 or a 3,000 none of the above oh wait they had a 50 touchdown passer or 40 or even 30 not even 10 touchdowns for young ok he was hurt and they had no receivers but don't give me this bull**** about 16-0 and 19-0 that is wat i would expect out of 2nd graders talking about in lunch ok but a grown person it just blows my mind oh yeah our defense don't get me started on them did they or did they not allow over 50 points from the patriots and did they not break records 1 year ago not good records like least turnovers and sacks they are sorry and we lost the potentially best safety in the league ok our players r not thrilled we lost our coach d and o coordinator ok we are starting from scratch ok i hope this article was a joke your editor should be ashamed i wonder wat this world is coming to we didn't win 1 game a year ago in the preseason now we are going undefeated maybe i should be the coach or quaterback mayb we will never lose a game in my career please get a physcological evalutation i think u r out of touch with reality never mind my spelling i can help that but wat you have said is the most ignorant thing i have ever seen"
